So....the mods let me know that I could only keep a "journal" under the "journals" section, which is for paying members only (which I am not) so in leu of posting my journal here, I will post my weekly weigh ins. (see the link in my signature for my journal)

I weigh in on friday mornings to track my progress. I have also been taking body measurements because I know sometimes the scale may not say you lost, but your body measurements say you do (and im really hoping I measure in the same place each time so im not getting skewed results). And as females, there are also times of the month that we tend to bloat and hold water and other nasty things like that, so again, the scale may lie!!!

As of now, I havent really incorporated a regular exercise schedule into my weight loss program. Once the pollen count here lowers (currently in the five thousands) I want to start walking my dog in the evenings. She's fat and needs the exercise, so I thought her and I could get slim and trim together!!! Currently, I bowl for 1.5-2 hours (5 games) at least once a week, and also occasionaly take my dogs for walks and to the dog park on weekends. I have also been attempting to play tennis once a week, but it's been tough because my tennis partner (aka my boy friend) has been working lots, so there hasnt been as much time. I will post when I start to include a regular exercise program.

Weight: 139.8

Measurements:
-Arms: 12" each
-Bust: 36"
-Waist: 30"
-Hips: 38"
-Thighs: 22.5" each

Friday 3-30-07 (day 9 on phen)

Weight: 137.2 (2.6 lbs lost)

Measurements:
-Arms: 12" each
-Bust: 36"
-Waist: 29" (1in lost)
-Hips: 38"
-Thighs: 22" each (1in total lost)

Notes:
- TOM is starting this weekend, so weight may be reading a little high. This is usualy the case, and I will drop 1-3 lbs in a few days after it starts. I also tend to be bloated, so measurements may drop as well.
- Not as happy with the loss, was hoping for more, but still excited that im making progress!!!

Awesome job on melting away almost 3lbs already. Weigh-ins are very different from a full journal. I look forward to your updates!

4-6-07 (Day 16 on phen)

Weight: 135.0 (2.2 lb loss) Total loss of 4.8 lbs
Measurements:
Arms: 12" each
Bust: 35 " (1 in loss) Total loss of 1 inch
Waist: 28 " (1 in loss) Total loss of 2 inches
Hips: 37" (1 in loss) Total loss of 1 inch
Thighs: 215" each (.5 in loss off each) Total loss of 1 in off each

Total of 4 inches loss this week. Total of 6 inch loss overall.

Notes:
- I currently am taking 1/3-1/2 pill in the morning and 1/2-2/3 pill around lunch time. (Never more than 1 whole pill in a day)
- Phen seems to be keeping hunger away fairly well this week, while not really causing adverse side effects.
- Im happy with my weigh in this week and the inches lost.
- The weight isnt coming off as quickly as I had hoped it would, but I have binged a few times, so that could be a big reason why. If I could keep from late night binging and remember to eat enough during the day, the weight may come off quicker.
- I can now visualy notice my weight loss, and it feels great to see it. It makes me quite excited and helps keep me motivated.

Good going, Girlie! I am so glad you say you can see the difference. I well remember the day I could first tell the difference in my size...it's a super feeling!

I do feel great! And I was actually able to fit into a pair of jeans that I havent work in a couple of years. I almost sold a bunch of my "skinny" clothes because I didnt think I would ever be able to wear them again,and they were just collecting dust and taking up space in my closet. Boy am I glad I didn't because those jeans were in that bag.

I also had several really cute tops that were just too small, but now a few of them actually fit and look good. I still cant quite fit into all the clothes I was planning on getting rid of, but hopefully I will here soon! ( I have lots of cute shorts and it would be great to not have to buy and for summer!!)

I think my biggest motivation is seeing the weight loss. I get so discouraged when I dont think im making progress, but when I can actually quantify and see my progress, it makes it all that much better!!!

AND....I know I try and only weigh on fridays and not be obsessive about the sale, but I did step on a time or two this weekend, and I was actually at 133, so im hoping that if I work hard this week, I may be able to have a 130-133 weigh in on friday!!!

Good luck to everyone else, and I can say this, if you are frustrated and not seeing the progress, HANG IN THERE!!! You will see it and it will feel GREAT!!!
