Hey-you have 20 pounds already gone forever. Don't let all the scale drama get to you.
Believe me-I've gained and lost over 80 pounds-well, almost I'm still working on losing it for the 3rd. But one thing I've learned along the way is that the biggest problem losing weight, for most people, anyway....is not physical. It's emotional. If you let this little thing get to you, it can lead to feelings of guilt and disappointment that can lead to you sabotaging all your hard work so far. So dust yourself off, be proud of what you have accomplished, and start again tomorrow. You can do this!
By the way, it's best to only go by ONE scale while you are losing weight. I know that I always weigh about 7 or 8 pounds more at the doctor's office than I do at home, so I just ignore it. You are not alone.....this happens to everyone. The fluctuations that you really do have as a woman are enough to drive you crazy without the additional stress of worrying about what you weigh on someone else's scale. Your start weight was taken on your home scale, and that's what you should go by. You know how much you've lost. Don't let this bother you one bit, hon.
Was the scale still in any kind of packaging? That can throw them off. Or it could have been dropped, like Kimber said. Not to mention that you probably weigh yourself at home with little or no clothes, which is dangerous to do at walmart
Hang in there, girl. We're proud of ya so far, and you should be, too!
