I've been curious about the Phentramin but I haven't read anything recently as to whether or not anyone has taken it for a period of time and what kinds of results they've had. Maybe I'm overlooking something. But I've seen where several people start it and then they stop mentioning it or state that they discontinued it because they couldn't see much difference. I did read a good update from Kiki - thanks!

It may be difficult to find the type of reviews you're looking for because a lot of people on this forum are (or were) phentermine users. I've mentioned this before and I believe it to be true- once you have taken a prescription weight loss pill any OTC pill will seem weak and less effective by comparison. For anyone who hasn't taken any weight loss drugs I think the supplements will work and be quite helpful. Like vitamins,I think they need to be taken for a couple of weeks before they really kick in. Any "virgins" out there should definitely try it.

I am one who hasn't taken any prescription weight loss drugs. I am always wary of what kind of medication I put in my body. I do however have a sister in law who was taking Phentermine and she lost a lot of weight. She uses the PhenTRAmin to maintain her weight loss. It didn't take long for me to see a weight loss on the Phentramin but like Squeekie said, it might not seem as strong to some.

That's probably why it's working for you so well. That's Good! By the way, how much weight did your sister in law loose and is she finding that the phentramin (same brand that you're taking?) is helping her maintain?

Her weight loss was about 40 pounds in 7 weeks or so. She is maintaining her weight with Phentramin and it seems to work just fine.

My goodness that's a lot of weight to lose in that short of time. That's wonderful. I wished I could just lost what I have left in the short-of-time period.. So is she done? Or does she want to lose more? I am assuming yes since she is now maintaining.

Maybe I should switch to Phentramin. Perhaps they may work better for me.

It is a lot of weight and she was scared she would gain it all back once she came off of the Phetermine. She had some really horrible side effects with it and that was a big reason for coming off of it in the first place.
