If anyone out there is reading this and have compared Adipex to herbal Phentramin to Phentramin-d can you give me some feedback? I'm reading that Phentramin-d is suppose to "mimic" prescription phen - is it true? Maybe I should have bought the Phentramin-d ...?

I would check the reviews at the top of the page and see what people are saying about the phentramin or the phentramin d. I personally havent taken either of them but there have been some good results with them.

The Phentramin D has caffeine and some of the ingredients in decongestants along with several other boosters. I haven't tried it, but it does sound intriguing. Google what these are and decide whether it's one you'd like to try:
Phentramin-d™ contains 1,3-Dimethylpentylamine hydrochloride + 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine

Nothing OTC will be as strong as something you need to get a prescription for. Of course they help, but a lot of it depends on having the right attitude and not relying solely on the product to do all the work.

Squeekie said it VERY VERY well!!! She is SO SO right! For YEARS I depended on a pill to do all the "work" for me, when in fact, I needed to put forth a little effort myself! A pill - whether prescription or non-prescription - is NOT going to miraculously melt the fat off of a person! It takes a dedicated attitude & lifestyle change to lose weight & KEEP it off! Although, on the other hand, I think a lot of weight-loss pills (again - whether prescription or OTC) are a lot of "mind over matter". People are popping a pill that they know is supposed to help them lose weight, so in turn, they eat better, start exercising, start drinking lots of water & WA-LA! They lose weight!
