I have been on phentermine since August 15 and I have lost about 15 lbs. I am a busy nursing student and the only time that I really spend at home is to sleep. Since I am so busy, I eat alot of fast food. I know that is not an excuse to eat badly, it is just so hard to prepare meals and healthy snacks when I am hardly ever home. I want to do better. First of all, I know I would lose more weight if I changed my eating habits and second, I would be MUCH more healthy. I have cut down my portion size when I do eat fast food. I used to eat a regular sized meal and now I just eat kids meals. But I need help. I don't really know what I can do to change my eating lifestyle because I am SO SO SO busy all the time. I need some suggestions and a little bit of guidance. Thanks!

There are healthier choices now at some of the fast food places that might be worth trying. At the very least you shouldn't eat the fries!

Some places sell buckwheat pancakes. Buckwheat is not wheat at all; it is a bit like rhubarb, but tastes like whole wheat. Gluten free, and with Cary's sugarless syrup (skip the butter) and Canadian bacon on the side, with a big cup of coffee.... I know! I know!!... That's what I have had at IHOP before and it was delish!

I think fastfood is our downfall. They make it so easy to just zip in and out. Like Squeekie said though, they do have some healthy alternatives. Good luck.
