I've been on Phentramin-D for a month and it has done wonders. I just joined the forum because I have a question. I was taking phen-d, but stopped for a while because pill pop'n everyday is boring<-----lame excuse I know---so I was off it for maybe a week or so and I started getting these extreme headaches. I thought it was nothing, but they wouldn't go away. Maybe from Jan 15 till Feb 1. Finally they went away and I have been headach free for two weeks. Well last week I got back on phen-d because I was gaining some pounds back and getting really down on myself, but I decided I would do every-other day since I didn't like having to take a pill everyday. First day off today and my headach is back. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Hmmmm... I wonder if it is something to do with hormones? Phentermine changes your hormones around so not sure about phentramin-D. The other reason some people get bad headaches when dieting is when they are detoxing, it happens all the time but it sounds like you were past the beginning phase...

Hope others can shed some light on that one.

I just started taking it again for the first time in 6 months. This is the second day and the headaches are back. I also had a nice little bit of insomnia last night. How long do your headache stages normally last? I just figured mine was due to the drop in calories that I am taking right now.

I have been taking Phen-D for a month now and I am worried I will get the headaches once I stop too. I believe with any kinda diet medication, when you stop this will happen. After all, it is a drug and it is a withdrawal symptom. I don't think it will happen to everyone, but to some of them it will. This is a pill you take every day and your body adapts to it and makes changes so that is why once it is out of the system then it has to make changes again to adapt to not being in the system. But I might be wrong too. You should read about the ingredients in this pill and then study each one of them and see the effect that they each have in your body. Maybe this will help understand better the reason for headaches.
Hope this helps.. FEEL BETTER

P.s Once I stop taking mine, I will let you know if I am experiencing any headaches.

Have you checked your blood pressure to make sure all is well in that area? Might be worth a run to a pharmacy or walmart to use their machine if you don't have the equipment at home to check it. Just a thought.

The first time I started taking Phentramin, I was almost through the entire first months bottle maybe two weeks remaining and I stopped taking it. The headaches I was having lasted almost three weeks with some days better than others. My mother is an all naturals cure person and found that if you massage the area between your thumb and pointer finger it helps the headach a little so that's how I was able to cope. As far as my blood pressure, it's fine and I do check it regulary because I'm hypoglysemic. (form of diabetes).

Thanks all of you for the insight. I'm kind of glad to know it's not just me.
