I'm not exactly overweight but I've struggled with about 20 lbs for years...since I was a child.

I'm not a health nut but I do try to make smart choices most of the time, every now and then though I do crave and indulge.
About a year ago I started on a new plan, no fad dieting, no nothing...I simply started watching my portions. After years of trying this and that, I found that worked best for me. I simply eat a little of everything.
I was able to get down from 160 lbs to my current 141 and am now stuck. I've been stuck for about 6 months.
I'm "happy" with where I am, but if I could go down about 1 clothes size and to approximately 130 I think I would be ecstatic...
I ordered phetramin d after a friend of mine (who was pretty overweight) went to a diet program and took the prescription version and lost a huge amount of weight. I started taking it yesterday, two pills a day like the bottle says, and I don't really notice my apetite suppressing at all...does it generally take a few days to kick in? Is this normal? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, Saraho. The phentramin d does not cause weight loss; neither does the phentermine. It's the muscle of willpower it gives you that can make the difference.

When I tried phentramin d, it was 4-5 days before I felt any help in controlling my appetite.

I'm taking Phen-D and I feel the effects...sometimes. In all reality, I believe that a major part of taking diet pills is a mental thing. While they do have some effect, if you care enough and are willing to put in the hard work then you will be fine. There are days when I work out and I feel like I just have some extra energy and it could be due to the pill, or maybe just my pure euphoria of being motivated and wanting to work hard.

Bottom line, don't rely on the pill just by itself. While you probably hear stories all the time about people losing pounds without doing anything, it doesn't matter in the long run because as soon as you stop that weight just comes right back. You have to be willing to make a lifestyle change, and that's all there is to it! Good luck!!
