Today is also my third day on the Phen-D. So far it has been working great for me. The first day I didn't notice anything but day two and three I am learing when to take it and it has been great!! Not as much weight loss with Phen-d as I had with Phentermine but a loss is a loss as far as I am concerned. I learned to eat good so I mainly use it to get me between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner when I have the biggest problem. I am going to start following PigPen's advice in my other thread and eat 6-8 smaller meals instead of my doc's 2 with 2 snacks and not eating after 3 stuff. And speaking of lunch I am off to find something at Subway!!

Well I did get my Phentramin-D. Shortly after posting my concern, I got an email from UPS with the tracking info. It must have just been a glitch. I must say they have some great customer service. A very nice lady called me soon after I sent them an email and was just so helpful!
I have only been on Phen-D since Monday, and havn't noticed a whole lot of a change, before taking it I usually skipped breakfast and lunch anyways...or at least always breakfast, and now taking the pills I guess it seems I do so with more ease, and less hunger pangs, but I dont get the "oopmh" I had with phentermine in the past.
Even though I started the meds Monday, I listed THursdays as my weigh-in days. Since last Thursday I have gained .6 lbs...but it is about to be that time of the month (any day now)...so I am hoping that is just...water weight or something in regards to that.
I am hoping that this Phen-D works like it claims to...I had such great success with Phentermine...I wish I could just get back on that.
We will see what happens...others that have been on Phen-D for a month or so, I would really love to hear from you, just to give me some motivation.
My other concern is, when I was on phentermine, my tolerance was so high, I ended up going from the 37.5 once a day to 1.5 times a day to 2 times a day. I just started to not feel it after a while so I had to bump it up a little, and then it continued to work. I am hoping that my tolerance isn't as high with this...or maybe I should bump it up already so I can feel it working?
Any thoughts?

I have never tried the Phentramine D, I have been off & on phentermine for the last 10+ years or more. Since you are new to it, do you see any benefit to it. I recently got meridia from a dr. Although it made me feel full while eating, I was hungry all of the time. So , I stopped taking them. My doc gave me phentermine, but for only 3 months and wanted me to try something else. I lost 25 lbs in 3 months on phentermine, and gained 6 lbs in 1 month on meridia.

Let me know how phentramine d is working for you.

thanks

DD, my personal opinion is that Phen-D is not very much like Phentermine at all. I have been on it for only 8 days though. I weigh myself in on Thursdays...and so when I weighed myself in on this past Thursday, I had only been on Phen-D for 4 days. I had gained 0.6 lbs (but it is also that time of month so...). I weigh in again this coming up Thursday and HOPE that I have lost at least 2-3 lbs by then since i will have been on it for a week and half. But it is still that time of month so I dont know how that will affect it. I will keep you posted!
As for the side affects (energy, appetite)...my appetite is suppressed, but not AS much as it was with phentermine, but close. And as for energy....I have some, but not nearly as much as phentermine.

You are right; there is no over the counter med that works as well for most folks.

It is singularly the most prescribed weight loss product since 2000.

The Phentramin-d does have vaso-dilators and caffeine, which gives you a small bit of help....

Ok so I started Phen-D 11 days ago and so far I have lost 4 lbs....I'll take that. I have noticed as the days pass, my appetite decreases, so I think the Phen-D is working in that regard. I will keep you all posted! 50 lbs to go!!!
