I looove mushrooms, seriously, I could down an entire of meal of sauteed mushrooms, no problem. Probably not the best idea, but I can dream.. I can dream.
Anybody know the calorie count in sauteed mushrooms though? I've searched a few sites and I keep getting different results - I guess it all depends what you add/how you do 'em.

I like to get a 1/4 lb. of white mushrooms (the ones that come raw, prepackaged at the grocery) and add about a tablespoon of olive oil and just sautee, 'till they brown. I like to have it at the most, twice a week.
I know mushrooms contain some protein & minerals, but how good is having sauteed food that often for your body?

Any input would be appreciated

hey there mushrooms are good for you and as long as you are eating i mean cooking with olive oil you should be fine the oil is what is fattening.

looked up online they have protein and are packed with nutrients full of alot of great stuff!


cook them with olive oil or white wine it said also you can get cooking wine at the store i have some, it also says you should have them cooked believe it are not they have more healthy nutrients when cooked unlike most foods

i am going to start eating them i love them
