I'm out of the cast!
:smt041

I've put on about 7 lbs because of the inactivity . . . it'll come off in time I'm not too upset.

The doctor has given me the OK to walk intervals again but running will have to be gradually re-entered into my program.

I feel good considering.

& I ordered more phen . . . just to boost me along for the time being.

Eva, this may be a stupid question but what is this 30 day diet? I guess I've missed alot of diet info during the past few years that I just didn't care. Is there somewhere I can go for the info on this?

This was a diet introduced to me at another forum

Quote:
Here is the diet:

No refined sugar (This means most types)
No nuts
No dairy (as in milk and cheese)
No booze
No red meat
No flour (or corn starch) This means ALL bread
Low fat (aiming under 2 grams of fat per meal)

Anything with ANY of the above items is prohibited. Dairy and corn syrup are in many dressings..... even if its a tiny bit it needs to be skipped.

some of the items can eat:

Rice, potatos in moderation
Chicken, turkey, fish
egg whites
popcorn
fruit- all you want
veggies-all you want
Old fashioned oatmeal in moderation
Fat free rasberry vinegrette
No eating after 6:30 PERIOD!!!!!!!
I had lots of yummy salads- I'll post receipes as I go.

Excercise! MINIMUM ONE HOUR A DAY- Its summer- Bike, hike, swim, mix it up. Try for MORE than one hour a da. Two Three- the more the better. Squeeze it in whenever you can (ie stairs not elevators, walk or bike to the store instead of driving, walk on your lunch break and coffee breaks) On the weekends plan a super long hike and wear a backpack, swim across the lake. Walk around the lake twice! Sign up for all the walk-a-thon fund raisers even if you dont have sponsors.

Don't think of it as just another diet where you need to lose x amount of weight- think of it as how much can you lose by having the all or nothing attitude for JUST 30 days. Yuo will be hungry at first and you will have sugar cravings but you need to just suck it up and get obsessed with the plan for 30 days.

Wow, that is definitely a strict diet plan. I think I'm gonna stick with slow going!!! Just not strong enough for that.

Hey Eva,
I cannot believe your transformation. You kick ass!
I am 197 and want to get down to 135, but a toned, curvy 135. I know that I need plenty of weight training to do this.
I saw your pictures and thought, "wow, the human body is so resilient and amazing"...no one in a million years would look at you when you were 250 and picture a hot bikini babe underneath.
Your accomplishments are very inspiring. Yes, you had some surgery, but that wasn't to cheat, it was to fix what is left over when your body stretches out to amazon lengths! I too plan on at least a breast lift and maybe, just maybe implants depending on how I end up...I am ok now, but my boobs are always the first to go whenever I lose weight, I am not naturally busty, this is all excess fat sitting on my chest. This part I am not looking forward to, but if I have to do surgery to fix something, I am.
I think you look great and I hope you never surrender!

zoey - it was HARD! . . . But it wound up being soooooooo worth it . . . I was in severe need of a butt kicking at the time & that plan was just what I needed

CN - thank you! a lot of people simply did not understand why I was having surgery . . . now they do!
