I post alot to, because it is noce to know other people are going through the same things I am. And it keeps my mind off food!

Back at work today. I seem to do better during the week, because I am on a schedule. On the weekend I do not eat often enough and I get bored and want to snack.

Yesterday I ate 2 peices of pizza and some icecream. :???:
It was not even as good as I thought it would be.

That weird taste in my mouth is back today and I do not have much of an appetite. I should have went to lunch 1 1/2 hours ago, but I am not motivated to. Eatting just for the sake of eating does not interest me, but I know I have to.

Hopefully I can take the dogs for a walk tonight.

My grandfather died on Saturday. :( He was a very nice man. He was my stepfather's dad. My stepfather died in 1999. I have not seen his father much since then. The last time I saw him was at my wedding in 2003. But I am sad. He was only 68.

I know what you mean about the weekend being tough. I have my routine during the week and it is alot easier to stay on track.

Thanks, cyn. The funeral is tomorrow. I was not extremely close to him, but he was such a nice man. It is very sad.

June 7, 2005 - 248.6 Started Phen.
June 8, 2005 - 245.4
June 11, 2005 - 244.2
June 12, 2005 - 243.6
June 14th, 2005 - 242.6

I am down to 242.6 today! I lost 6 pounds my first week on Phen. I am going to weigh in an Tuesday and/or Wednesday every week, but I am going to try to stay away from the scale the rest of the week. I weighed myself several times a day this entire first week on Phen and I now know how my body reacts to it. If I exercise I go down in weight, it is as simple as that. Exercise is the KEY for me. Obviously, eating healthy is important too. But if I do stray and eat something I shouldn't, then I know I can use exercise to make up for the slipup. As long as it is not an every day occurance.

Great job on the 6lbs!!! Keep up the good work!! I am so glad you have found that you can treat yourself and still lose. That makes it alot better than feeling deprived.

I have been eating sensibly and doing lots of walking. I have hidden the scale so that I do not obcess over it this week.

I found the scale. I am just not at a point where I am comfortable going an entire week not weighing myself. :(

It is in the 80's today. I took the dogs for a short walk. Then came home and exercised to a fitness show I taped.

I just had a vision of you looking thru closets and under the beds in search of your scales!! You are doing great!! You should be happy with what the scale is saying! You are definately on your way!!
