• How much weight do you want to lose?
I currently weigh 145. I want to lose at least 15 pounds to be 130.. I think thats a good healthy weight.

• How much time do you hope to take to reach your goal?
I hope to lose it in about three months.

• What methods will you use to accomplish your goal?
I am going exercise 3 to 5 times a week- walking in the park, swimming, and at home exercises. I'm going to start eating better food and in small amounts, avoiding greasy foods and drinking a lot of water.

• Who or what can motivate you to help you reach your goal?
my friends, boyfriend, and hopefully people in this forum

• Is your goal realistic?
Yes, I think so.

• When do you want to start?
Today

Well, it looks like you have a good plan and you are not looking for a quick fix. That is essential for long term weight loss. You have the right mind-set! :-D

:( I've been pretty bad with focusing on my plan. I haven't been walking, but I have been swimming a lot and drinking a lot of water. I started eating around four to five times a day -small meals of course- but lately I havent been doing that. We usually don't have much convenient food at my house, so it's hard to eat often. I ate two popsicles today.. and the other day at my friends house we ate pasta and salads with no protein.

I'm going to Florida with my family on Friday so I wont be able to start walking; I will be swimming a lot though and walking for a long period of time on hot sand.

Just hang in there. Nothing happens overnight. At least you are aware of what you ar doing and how you want to change it. That is a good start. No one can change their diet and exercise in a few days. It takes time. There will be days when you slip back into old habits. Do not beat yourself up.

Every meal allows you to make new choices. If you fall off at one meal, get back on eating healthy at the next meal.

Hang in there. :-D

Yeah I know.. I just have to be patient. I'm usually pretty good at it but not with my weight. I did pretty good to today. I ate two eggs for breakfast and a healthy turkey sandwich for lunch, and later I'll probably eat a fruit for a snack... I think dinner is the one that gets me.
