I know just what you mean! In high school, when I was 18 years old, I weighed 135 pounds and I thought I was so fat. I am 5'4", so it was a normal weight for a person my height. I cannot imagine weighing that much now! I would be SOOO skinny. My goal is to get to 160. That would be plenty skinny for me.

My mom used to warn me when I was a teen that I would not be able to eat the way I did then and stay skinny. I did not believe her! LOL! I was so active then though. I was in sports and I walked everywhere. Like you said...those were the days. Now I am too busy with life and work!

Oh well, we can do it! We will never have that youthful body again, but we don't have to be fat blobs either!!!

Hang in there and don't starve yourself, that will not solve anything!

8) Well tomorow is the day,the first weigh in,after the first week on phen. :-) I weighed myself at the hospital when I was there the other day.It read 105kg/232lbs,the hospital scales must be right.I cant believe it,that means I have lost 7kgs/6lbs in one week?I will find out tomorrow when I weigh in at the shopping center scales.They are good ones that take your height as well.But they cost $1,I go shopping every second day or so.I am always tempted to get on and see how I am going. :o

:-D :-o :grin: :-) YAY!!!I went to docs office and weighed myself on his scales.They said 103kg/227lbs!!!!!!I cant believe it,9kgs/20lbs in one week????Is that possible?I couldnt believe my eyes when I read it.I have been doing 45minutes of cardio everyday plus weights every second day.Eating a healthy low fat breakfast cereal/skim milk.Low fat soups during day.De-caffinated tea with sweetners/skim milk,a lot of those!A few lollies here and there,my weakness!I did have bad eating habits before I started phen,so maybe the complete turnaround in eating has done it.I look in the mirror and see some improvements,my butt is a bit smaller.Probly due to the hill climbing part of the treadmill program.My stomach is a little flatter and my skin is also clearer,all the water I am guzzling.I am stoked and really motivated to keep going and lose more get fitter!! :smile: :-o :grin: :-D 8)

Hi,just a few words to get them off my chest.I have been going well with the diet,have been eating between 1000 to 1500cals a day.I have increased my cardio at the gym to 60minutes.I did 40minutes on the advanced program on the treadmill,lots of up/down hills.And 20minutes on the x trainer[ski machine],which was very tiring.I followed it up with my weights program,I also put some of the weights a little heavier. :eek:My forearms are a bit sore,not too bad thou.Thanks 8)

What I think is so great is that you're exercising so much! That is awesome because it's so good for you, will really help you lose weight faster, and because you're making it a part of your daily routine, you're more likely to continue it AFTER phentermine as well. I wish I had the willpower to exercise that much! The most I do is 40 mins of walking 5 days a week...hmm, can I count sex as exercise?

:grin:Hi me again just a quick post to say I have been sticking to my diet ok.I am doining 1hr of cardio a day,and my weights program every second/third day.I did a fat burner aerobics class the other day.A lot of squats,punching/kicking,lunges and floor exercises.They included crunches stretching etc.I was stuffed at the end of it all.Will do a class every second day,do the treadmill/ski on the other.The classes are very intense and go non stop for 50mins with a cool down and toning stuff at the end.Going to a step class in the morning,I only use the lowest height step or I cant keep up.But Im sure I will improve with time and use a higher one. :-) I have been sticking to eating low fat soups and only 2 pieces of bread a day,plus a bowl of special K with dried apple in it in the morning.Really yummy!I also drink de-caf tea with sweeteners/skim milk,about 5 cups a day.I make myself drink a 650ml bottle of water during my workouts at the gym,wish I could do it after I leave!Tomorrow I will weigh myself[thursday]and post what I have lost/gained Bye :-D :smile:

Well I doubt you're going to gain anything, Magenta. Good for you for doing all that exercise. Makes me exhausted just thinking about it. Are you eating enough for the amount you exercise? Or are you just eating so little because of Phen?
