 Hi me again, just a few words to update how I am going.I weighed myself today only lost half a kilo/1lb.That p__sed me off a bit because I have been working out hard.Sticking to my diet, and still only 1lb? :x Oh well,I did lose 10kgs/22lbs in the last 4 weeks.I cant complain,I do feel much fitter and have lost it off my stomach/bum.I am starting to be able to go to bed before midnight now as the exercise is making me more tired.Overriding the phen,I am getting up earlier though which is strange.I am thinking about going off the phen when it runs out in a couple days. I am eating much better food and thinking about the smaller portions idea.I read in a fitness mag that after eating a medium sized macas[mc donalds]meal you would have to run a 3hr marathon to burn it off! But it tastes so good, its not fair! :x

magenta,

You are doing REALLY well. Don't get frustrated! Yu can't lose big numbers every week....your body needs time to adjust. Plus, with all of the exercising you are doing you are definately gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat!

Keep up the good work!

Hey Magenta, sounds like you are doing well with your workouts. I usually do aerobics but I've been trying a step class for the past couple of weeks. I start off using one riser under my step and then half way into the class I take them out. Hopefully soon I can use the riser for the whole class. It's hard taking step since I'm so short and I trip over the step, but I am going to stick with this one. There's a class that is similar to your BBT class that I go to. It's called guts and butts. I haven't gone for awhile but I want to go back. An hour of abs and butts. It's so hard I usually can't walk the next day. The instructor is mean too. When we do leg lifts with the elastic bands on our feet, she walks around making sure everyone has their legs up high enough to where she wants it. If you don't she puts her foot in between and you have to keep it higher than her toe or she won't stop counting. Other than that it's a good class. Keep up the good work.

:-D Thanks maymay sounds like you are doing great on the exercise too! Your instructor sounds like a real tough cookie,I am thinking about adding an extra level on my step.Got through the last step class on thursday a lot easier! Been sticking to my diet, had a small pig out on saturday night. Some chocolate lollies and normal cheese melted on vegemite toast,my favourite. Trying to vary the workouts by doining a tai bo class on tuesdays, step on thursdays and the BBT class on sundays. On mon, wed, fri and saturdays I do the treadmill/x trainer[ski machine]for a total of 60minutes.I might add one more class instead of a treadmill session. They get a bit boring sometimes, they have cable tv on the televisions on a music channel.Good things on them sometimes, but its always on a young persons station. Not that Im that old either, but it is definately aimed at teenagers most of the time! :o Yesterdays class a tall skinny girl in a crop top/bike shorts came in late and went in front of me to start the class! With the mirrors all along one wall the whole class I was comparing how I looked to her!Oh well she was pretty lazy during the class, and hardly put any effort in to it.I think she probly starves herself and doesnt think she has to put the hard work in.I am just jeallous I suppose!See Ya!

just think she may be skinny but shes not that healthy and may die earlier than you because of it. So you'll have a healthier and longer life. Keep at it and it will pay off. Good luck

Magenta, you will always fail when you compare yourself to others. The only person you have to compare yourself to is yourself. It's way to easy to get caught up thinking "I'm not as strong as that person" or "I wish I was skinny as them" and lose sight of our goals.

Remember, some people have really great genetics and then the rest of us have to work really hard.

 Weighed myself at the docs,100kgs/222lbs approx. When I weighed at the shopping centre 101.5/224 :-D I have been exercising every day,and vary the workouts on the treadmill.I looked at a website about cardio machines. They said a ski machine burns more calories than a stationary bike.I dont use the s.bikes but was doing 20mins on the ski machine. They can burn 250calories in 30minutes,so from now on I will do 30mins on ski machine.I still do 20minutes of 1min jog,2min walk. Then I do 10 minutes of increasing the incline up to 8%,then down to o again.Started to eat fish a lot more too,to replace so much red meat.I have had no Phentermine since saturday.I am going ok,get a bit hungry at night time but have discovered Tomato juice! When you feel hungry at night time,or if its cold, which usually makes you more hungry.Buy the cheap home brand[dont know what its called in the states]very cheap. The same as the brand ones and heat a cup/mug up in the microwave, sip slowly!Hunger pangs all gone! :-D

Good job Magenta!! For my late night hunger I've tried a bowl of Raisin Bran 1 cup 190 calories 1.5g of fat 7g of fiber. I use light silk soy milk instead of regular milk. I only use 1/2 cup of the silk and cut the calories to 30. It helps for those night time hunger attacks and you get your fiber too. How do you motivate yourself to stay on the machines. I like to do them but once I start to get tired I get off. I have to take the classes to so someone can yell at me when I stop or tell me what a good job I'm doing. I'm going to sign up to work out with a personal trainer when school starts and I get a normal paycheck again, so I can pay for it. Keep up the good work.
