I weighed myself today. Honestly, I weigh myself 5 times a day. I am a bit obcessed. I need to break that habit!

Even if you do not lose this week, you know you are treating your body much better than you used to and that in itself is a great accomplishment.

Haha needtolose..I have the opposite problem. I hate weighing myself at all, because I'm always convinced I haven't lost anything. So, once a week, I painfully make myself step on the scale. The good news though is that I've lost 6 lbs since I started Phen last Tuesday...!!! I'm pretty happy about that. I've definitely been working at it though, watching what I eat and exercising. So I'm hoping I can keep it up! Losing just 4 lbs a so per week from now on would be o.k. with me, especially since I only have about 20 lbs I want to lose. I'm excited!! Except I can't jog today because it's 105 outside.

Indeed. Virginia is much the same...not only is it scorching hot, but the air feels so thick and muggy... :???: it drives me insane, especially when I can sweat profusely just from sitting outside for 5 minutes doing nothing. I think the worst though is getting inside my car and sitting on the hot leather upholstery. I don't know what I would do without central air.

I don't know much about the humidity where you guys are. But, I know in TX if the temp says 90. That means its really in the 100's. In the houston area anyway.

Haha, I do feel Lucylicious-er. Can't believe it's cold in Australia right now...I was under the impression it never gets cold there? I mean I know it's your winter there and all, but still...what is the temperature right now? And I would work out in the morning, but...I just can't get up that early. I could if I were to go to bed earlier, but I usually end up getting distracted by something (talking with my bf on the phone  ), and then I wake up just in time to get ready for work!

I jogged 40 mins yesterday, and ate the following: Breakfast: small bowl cereal, 1 cookie. Lunch: slice of toast and a pear. Snack: crust of bread with peanut butter. Dinner: whole wheat noodles with chicken, onions, green pepper & sauce I made myself. Later on that night: another pear and a small piece of chocolate. So far TODAY I've eaten a bowl of cereal. For lunch I'll probably have a turkey, cheese, and tomato sandwich on baguette, and for dinner whatever my mom makes.

As you can tell I'm having a hard time cutting out carbs, and by that I basically mean bread. I just can't help it because I looooove bread and I don't want to deprive myself. Anyway, I'm looking forward to working hard this week and seeing if I've lost more weight by next tuesday!!
