Whew, it's been a heck of a morning. I have been digging post holes(by hand) and stringing new fence. Also, had to go get a new hay bale for the horses. It's only 2:00 and I'm already pooped! Well, at least it's good excercise.

Hi Zoey--

I was reading your other posts and saw that your husband wants to start to loose weight. this is great and if he is so overweight maybe the phentermine would be a good start so he can see results fast and doesn't get discouraged. Check with his doctor and maybe he can avoid the scale and just keep the last weigh he had on record.

Loosing weight with your hubby is great. Mine is always dragging me out to work out and although he claims i haven't gained a lot of weight I know he thinks I have gained some. I refuse to tell him my weight just because I would feel awful if he knew.

We work out together 3 times a week. I swim and he runs then we meet to workout on weights. We also have the same foods so I never have to make anything extra that I know I can't have. (although sometimes i buy him a pastry here and there.)

Well good luck with you and your husband. I really hope that he can get on a healthier track because his weight will cause you and him a great deal of pain in the future if you don't do something about it now.

Talk to you soon.

D.

Yep I'm looking forward to us doing this together. I don't think he will be able to use the Phen though. As a commercial driver, he is subject to random drug tests and I have been told that it can show up as a narcotic.

Well, with the time I spent working outside yesterday I got a little bit sunburned so I'm going to stay inside today. I have to the the ring around the hay bale but that's all. I've got plenty of work to do in here. I've been doing stuff outdoors and concentrating on excercising and the housework has fallen behind. Gotta get everything caught up before John gets home. Hard to justify not having the house clean and laundry done when I don't have a job to go to and nobody to take care of but me!!!!

Well, the good new of the day is John got his official invitation to fish in his tournament trails National Championship. I'm so proud of him. This is the first season he's ever fished bass tournaments and before this he only fished saltwater. Making it to the Nationals is a big deal for anyone, but very few have ever done it in their first season. Now, I've got until October 1st to get ready for a week in Shreveport, Louisiana. Maybe I'll actually be able to put on my jeans by then. I can force myself into them now, but only if I'm not interested in moving or breathing. They are a size 20. The 18's are still hanging on the wall. Wish I could be wearing them for the trip but that's not gonna happen. If I make my goal, by the time next seasons Nationals comes around I'll be in a 9 or 10!!!!!! Oh my God! That's the first time I really looked at my goal that way. I haven't worn smaller than an 11 since I was in the 6th grade.

Well, I still haven't finished fixing the fence yet, but since the horses got a fresh hay bale they don't care about anything else. Hopefully tomorrow these cramps won't be so bad and I will get out there and get to work. Still have 5 post holes to dig and posts to put in place. Wish the ground wasn't so sandy, then I wouldn't have to dig them so deep. Oh well, I just keep reminding myself of all the calories I'm burning and the upper body workout. Just call me Sheera!!! I have this dream of having a body that looks like Lucy Lawless.(Xena) Some people say she fat but I think she has a very real and healthy look. Same with Linda ? (Wonder Woman)

I spent 2 hours this morning pulling weeds in the pasture. I have a hot wire going across part of the field(about 600 feet) and the weeds have grown up to touch it. Had to walk along it bent over pulling the weeds as I went. Now I have a strip about 600 feet long and 3 feet wide with no weeds. The rest of the 5 acres however is covered. I talked about pulling the whole field instead of cutting it so I can get some grass growing out there, but if it took over 2 hours to do that much, imagine how long it would take to the whole thing!!!! After it starts cooling off I might go ahead and start spending a few hours each day working on it. If nothing else, it will get me off my butt
