HI everyone today I decided that I need to start a journal so I can keep better track of my progress and be more motivated.

I started to take phentermine Aug. 21. It has been two weeks and there has been some results although I was off it for the weekend. I knew I was going to be doing some heavy drinking and did not want to risk any side effects while I was taking the meds.

I hope you can relate that going to Vegas for 2 days and then to a CAL game in Berkley with friends are not the ideal places to be on your regular diet.

I gained back 4 of the pounds I lost on the first week and half but I plan to do some extra excerscise this week to make up for all the eating i did this weekend.

I have the slim in 6 video and plan to start using it everyday on top of my swimming and weights. I hope that I can really stick to it this time. I tend to do it for a week then stop and get bored.

so wish me luck on getting rid of the 40 extra pounds!

Good luck to you. I don't drink that much anymore because of all those calories. My brother turned 21 in June and he's starting to get a belly. I also don't trust my friends when they say oh I'm not going to drink so I'll drive. And then 5 beers later I'm the only one sober and driving someone elses car. So now I just drive myself and if anybody wants a ride, just as long as they puke outside. Mix up your work out routine so you don't get so bored. I get bored with mine so then I don't do it. I found a new step class that I really enjoy right now, but I'm looking for more to vary my routine.

I'm glad you decided to start your diary. It really does help. I knew it, but now I can really testify to it. My husband has been home for the past 5 days. Usually only home for 2. I haven't been writing daily and really keeping track. Plus when he's home he's usually really worn out and just lays around watching the tube. Of course, not seeing him for 2 weeks, I want to spend time with him, so I just lay around too! Looking back I can see that I didn't make the same kind of progress this week, so now I can plan ahead for his next time home and not make the same mistake.

I love Friday's because i know tomorrow I do not have to get up early and i can sit around and do nothing. Lately I have learned to value the weekends more and more. I used to work at the baseball stadium and had to work crazy hours and all of the holidays and weekends when we had games. Ughh.

Well anyways I have dropped the five pounds I gained last weekend from all the Labor day festivities and my vacation. I am really looking forward to being in the 160's next week at least on sunday when I weigh in.

I decided to start a new workout program I heard about from a friend a long time ago. It is the Hard Rock Challenge. It is supposed to be for 3 months and is mainly for weight training. Its supposed to be pretty tough but I really want to get toned as I am loosing weight I dont want any flabiness from the excess skin. If anyone has access to a gym and wants to try it let me know and I will email you the PDF.

So monday is here again. I hate mondays. I used to have this really great job that kept me busy all day and I had tons of friends there. I was also working like 60-70 hours. I left because my boss was a real jerk and the company ended up firing him 2 days before I left. Oh well.

My weekend was ok nothing exiting or eventful. I cleaned my house and went to lunch with my brother. I am actually a little exited about starting my new excersice program today. I used to go to the gym everyday and I used to run 3 or 4 miles every other day when I was thin. But the last few times I been to the gym I just feel so fat and get tired quickly. I think its because of the weight that I get tired. I am really setting my mind to I need to look good again so I can enjoy working out. There is nothing better than being able to put on that sexy workout outfitt that show off all of the hard work you have done. Instead of the large shirt that bundles up and you have to keep pulling down everytime you are doing a situp or something.

Well i will keep reporting on my progress for the week. Hope everyone is doing well. I see a lot of people are starting journals so that is great is always fun to read what other people are doing and knowing you are not alone.

Aggh what a week. i have been working out and really been good about what I eat. I been drinking at least two liters of water a day and i am a little frustrated because I feel that I am not digesting any food. I have always had this problem and I hate it. I have a very slow digestive system. I always have to take fiber tablets or something but I hate those things. I been drinking tea every morning and stayed away from cofee and diet coke. I think i had one diet coke last week. I am really proud of that.

I hope the rest of the week gets better. I will not be able to hit the gym today but will be there tomorrow. I can only hope to see the 60's on sunday when I weigh in.

I noticed you haven't updated your ticker lately. I refuse to believe that it's because there's been no change. I think it's because you have been working so hard and been so busy excercising that you just haven't had time!! Or maybe you just want it to big a really big change when you do so we can all freak out!!!!!
