Okay, I can't remember all the questions to answer:

I'm somewhere between 158 and 155 (depending on whose scale and what time of day). I'm going to stick with my scale (it weighs lighter than the others, but it is the most convenient and it has that body fat calculator thingy). I'm 5'7 and ultimate goal is 135 (really it is 130), but I'd be ecstatic at 135.

My plan:

Eat six small meals a day (I've already been doing this, a lot of protein bars and protein shakes - I really like EAS products, but the Cliff Builder Peanut Butter Chocolate bars are the best) I need to make more fresh meals/salads.

Work out with personal trainer 3 times a week.

Due cardio three times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes.

I need to drink more water!!!!

I'm sure you've already checked all the nutrion info on your bars and shakes, but you might want to start replacing them with actual meals, maybe one at a time. I have found that most of them may have good levels of protein/fat/carbs, but they don't offer much besides that. Your body won't function at its best without the right balance of ALL your vitamins and minerals as well. Check out FitDay.com You may find some helpful tips there.

Thanks Zoey,

I checked out fitday.com. It is a good site. I had been manually tracking calories, fats, carbs and protein, but didn't know what to do with the information so I stopped about a month ago. I'm going to start tracking my food starting today. I think it's great that it also tracks nutrients.

The bars and shakes are good, however, nothing is better than "real" food. I need to figure something out. I live off of processed food due to time constraints and Atlanta traffic. It's not good for my son either. He's 9 and has the opposite problem as us. He is super skinny. I showed him a picture today of when I was 10 or 11. I was shocked I was as skinny as he is. It was funny. I was wearing jogging shorts and I was all legs. It'd be nice to have some of that leaness today

Regardless, I need to make sure both of us are eating better foods.

I hope everyone's week starts out great!

You might try taking some time on a day off and let your son help you make meals in advance for the week. That way all you have to do is heat up stuff and you've got your home cooked meal. The new Saran Wrap stuff works really great and I just tried the freezer one recently and I love it. Most things are easily freezable after they've been cooked.

154.2 today. Tonight I'll be running with this running group I joined several months ago. I've somewhat abandoned them the last couple of months.

Then I'm headed somewhere to watch the Falcons/Patriots game. Not a huge Pro Football fan, but it's local so the crowd should be fun

Tommorrow, Wednesday and Thursday I work with a PT. I will probably run on Wednesday also.

For food this week, try to at least have one fresh/non-processed meal a day. We'll see what happens

That sounds great. My execise schedule is somewhat changed this week. I will be spending the next few day rebuilding a fence. My horse went nuts this weekend and took out a 40 foot stretch of fencing. I've got to replace about 12 fence posts and that means hand digging 4 ft deep holes for each one.

Have you tried of having a small bowl of cereal instead of the bars? I pack a small container for lunch and some milk i love it.

Try Special K with Strawberries. They also claim you can loose up to 6 pounds if you have it for breakfast, lunch and a regular dinner.

I like to use a small bowl of cereal as an in between. High fiber so it "sticks your ribs"!!!
