Alemicia-
You are doing just fine. Remember that a person who has a lot of weight to lose, loses more, and at a faster rate.
Once all of us get within that last 25, 15, 10 lbs...it is going to be a little harder.
Also, keep in mind the LIFO rule, LAST IN FIRST OUT, that is the way that we lose fat off the body, which is why those last ten pounds are always so hard. In noticing this rule in effect, take me for example...I am very curvy, big butt bottomed, but always have a small waist, not too much stomach, as I've gained, it was my hips, thighs and butt mostly, but as more came on, it started going into my breasts, then you would notice I gained more and it was now a bigger stomach, fatter cheeks on the face, but I NEVER got the double chin, still have my jawline like if I was a size 6. Ok, so LIFO rule, I'm losing and it is exactly in the reverse order. My face is thinning, my stomach is almost gone, my boobs are smaller, but my thighs, hips and rear end are going to be where those last critical pounds coming off are going to come from and make the difference in my appearance. Don't get it wrong, fat does come off of several areas of your body gradually as you lose, a little here and a little there, but generally the rule is the longer the fat has been there, it is the last fat to come off. Last in, first out.
So, if the last ten pounds you gained caused a double chin, when you lose ten or fifteen pounds, that should be the first thing to go, the double chin. If you have always had a stomach, but the last 30 pounds has caused a big butt when you normally didn't have a rump, when you start to lose, your rump will deflate before you see your stomach which has been there or is where you normally gain, deflate. Just keep going, don't look back. One day we are going to be on this forum, celebrating and talking about all the sexy outfits we can where now and how much our life has changed since we first started. I am so excited to hear about everyone's successes and likewise I am encouraged to see struggle and triumph because it shows that this is something incredible hard to do and it is great to have someone to share it with!
