What? I thought we all wanted to be losers! :? Anyway, just keep pushing. I know it's hard. Hitting that spot where nothing seems to make a difference is the hardest part. It's where we usually end up just giving up and blowing off all the good things we've done and learned. Keep up the healthy eating and the excercise and you will get past it. Are you changing up your excercise routine? Also, what calorie level are you eating at? You might try switching it up. You know, higher calories for a day or two and then back to a lower calorie level, just to give your system a jump start. Also, if you've dropped you intake too low, your body will be trying to protect itself. Anyway, think about everything your doing, switch things up a little and I am sure that very soon you will break through that barrier. Just one thing, DO NOT GIVE UP!!! If you do, we will have to hunt you down and send you to boot camp!!!

I know I do not eat enough calories. My average is about 1100 a day. I will try to jump start but I am so afraid of the weight gain. I will try that though. I always mix my exercise routine up because I like to try new things.

1100 a day is fine. They say 1200 but really between 1000 and 1200 is okay. You don't need to add alot and make sure your adding good calories. It's not an excuse to go get a dozen donuts!!!! Try it just for a couple of days, then go back to regular levels. If it doesn't work, that couple of days isn't going to hurt you. Mainly you need to relax about it. Stress can cause you to not be able to lose weight. I was reading an article about that just the other day. It's not just because of eating more when you're stressed. There's a chemical thing involved. Your body reacts to stress the same way it does to starvation. It starts producing more of the chemicals that makes you hold on to the fat. So, first thing you've got to do is relax. You cannot constantly think of nothing but I've got to lose weight. You're causing your body to fight against what your trying to do. I know that's easier said than done, but you need to try to think of what your doing as making yourself healthier instead of losing weight. That way, you won't be so stressed out about the pounds, and they will start to drop.

Well still no more weight loss. I have not lost anything in almost a week. :-( I think that maybe I ruined my metabolism from not eating enough. I am trying to do the weight watchers point system now and phen. I think that I am going to take the next week off of phen and try again. I have been exercising but I guess that s not enough. I am so frustrated and I want to cry whenever I get on that scale.

Try eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, small meals/snacks and you might see a change.
Yes, stress will do it to you, so try to chill.
Get in lots of water and make sure that those meals are portioned correctly and have protein.
Hope that helps!
Good luck!

Determined, sorry to see you are stuck. I just went through that last week so I totally understand. This is what I did and saw results. I felt the phentermine not working much in the appetite area anymore. I was worried I built a tolerance already even though I haven't been taking then long. My first week was one every other day. Then I went to everyday for awhile and then at the start of this week I stopped. (Started PMS-ing, wanted chocolate, went on a mini candy binge, felt bad). I then got worried about all the sweets craving I was having and how bad I was feeling. I thought it was just PMS but could it have been also withdrawal from phentermine? I mean I couldn't stop crying for no reason. Anyway I started again on thursday and the phentermine was strong again. I had one of those restless nights where I can't sleep but I wake up a few pounds lighter. I should add that I didn't work out all week either. So , a week off the phentermine might be too much. It's supposed to be not good, you should go off gradually. Maybe try half doses or just a day or two off at a time. Also, maybe my few days of finally eating more then going back to reduced calories helped. You work out so much it seems, I don't what it could be? Not enough cardio? Maybe it's because you are gaining muscle too and it's balancing out weight wise. Are you at least seeing changes in your body shape?

It is true that sometimes, especially when working out, you can't only dwell on the number on a scale.
Muscle is denser than fat, as you lose fat and replace it with muscle, your weight may not budge, but your body compostion will and you'll see changes in inches and the fit of your clothes.
Don't get stuck in the mind frame though of muscle weighs more than fat....that is like saying a ton of bricks weighs more than a ton of feathers, a ton is a ton. 5 lbs of muscle and 5 lbs of fat, same thing. The difference is how muscle takes up space on your body versus the way fat takes up space. Muscle has form whereas fat is just sloppy and clumpy. Keep that in mind and try someting to trick your body.
Good luck with everything. Have fun while you are at it.
