What are you doing at the gym? Do they have elliptical machines? You actually burn more calories on those than the tredmill. And they are good for your knees and back because there is no contact with the ground. I love them I stay on for about an hour on the days I don't do weights.

I really want to try the ellipticals. Does anyone know what the weight limit is that it will support? I'm asking because John was talking about getting a treadmill, but I don't think his knees can handle it. Just walking around in the yard starts his knees hurting and of course that leads to the back as well.

ok so i have already back tracked..went to olive garden yesterday because i had a bad end to my monday..i think i realize that not only am i a bored eater i'm an emotional eater :( ...i did take food to go but i ate past my full level. my jaw was killing mafterwards i had a these sharp pains i dont kow if it was from the phen but it was weird. I did go to the gym yesterday morning though b4 work so that was a positive of the day. But i am back on track now and anticipate staying there..i will be going to the gym at 7:00am 2morrow. i just hope I STAY FOCUSED :???:

Olive Garden, yummm! Don't worry about it. Think of it as a free day. You had some good food, enjoy it, don't beat yourself up over it. I love Olive Garden. I could eat the salad and breadsticks all day! I almost always get the tour of italy plate. Problem is that thing is enough for 3 people. Anyway, hope you work your butt off at the gym. I am spending my day hauling hay!

ok so i was good yesterday!! I went to the gym at 7:00am did my 2 mile run/walk as usual. I had a no carb breakfast..just bacon..lol. and for lunch i had 2 hot dogs and some broccoli..what a combo right..lol

I got on the scale this morning and I am down 5.5 lbs already!! i am so excited..it has been exactly a week since I started phen. It is just so effortless and I think that is why this one may be the one that finally works.

i do have a question though..and i'll post it in another part of the thread as well...does it matter when you take the pill as far as eating goes..should i always take it on an empty stomach? do i have to wait awhile before eating after i do? can i take it right after eating? I never realy got any real instructions on how to take it i just know it says 1 a day..thanks for the help.

I try to do the elliptical every now and then...but i feel like i get more of a burn doing the treadmill b/c a run and walk and put the incline all the way up. but i do realize that the elliptical burns more calories and my knees dont seem to hurt as much as they do when i use the treadmill...i'll prob start a new routine next week b/c they say your suppose to change it up every now and then

i really think keeping this journal as well as the fitday journal is really helping me..i know that if i mess up u guys will be right there to get me back on track...

so today for bkfast i had some bacon (again..lol)
an apple for lunch
and for dinner i had some fish with brown rice a little salad, string beans and broccoli.

I am sooooo glad i found this place and phen...it helps curb my appetite to the point where i won't even just eat for no reason. before even when i wasnt hungry I would go to eat with co-workers and stuff but now i find that i dont even have to do that anymore...I am loving this..i'm just not looking foward to the dreadful day when i become tolerant of it..lol
hopefully it will be at least 25lbs lighter though.
