I will start my journal by answering the questions Ian told us to think about when starting a journal...so here it goes!

• How much weight do you want to lose?
17lbs left to go. In May 2005 I weighed 173lbs, I now weight 140 and hope to weigh around 123( don't know why, but its a good random number, 120 is too little). I am 5'2, have a very large chest.....very large, so anything under 125, 124, or 123 will give me a look I don't want to have, if you know what I mean.

• How much time do you hope to take to reach your goal?
I hope to reach my goal by November 27th. If I lose 2-3 lbs a week, I will reach that weight loss goal, and be close to my secondary goal which is to be supertoned and crazy fit by January 2006

• What methods will you use to accomplish your goal?
I will continue to use Phentermine for the 28 days that I have left, work out 4-5 days a week doing 90 minutes of cardio and weights for toning, drinking tons of water, and eating AT LEAST 4 small, healthy meals a day

• Who or what can motivate you to help you reach your goal?
The things that motivate me are my clothes. I constantly try them on and love when they feel and look better and better. When I reach my weight loss goal, I am going on a shopping spree! I have not been shopping since March because I decided not to buy any more clothes that I will end up giving away anyway!!!

• Is your goal realistic?
Yes, it is, I am giving myself enough time to do it healthy, weighing 123 for my height and frame keeps me at healthy level, and as long as I continue the workouts/water/eating routine I know that I will do fine once I get off the Phentermine!

• When do you want to start?I started on Phentermine again yesterday after a 2 1/2 month hiatus, and instantly felt more energy, less hungry, very thirsty, and I can't wait til I weigh in next...lets say Monday and update on my progress. I know the last few lbs are the hardest to lose so i will not ger discouraged. I've come so far, I will not give up easily

Congrats. I know how you feel on the chest size. It can be a real pain and I wouldn't want to loose them either but I do want them just a bit smaller. Not to much. I think we are kind of the same frame size and have similar goals. I know that It would be ideal for me to be in the 120's but the last time I weight that much was when I was 14.

The sad part is that I was doing that modeling for kids thing and they told me I need to loose a lot more weight if I wanted to make it. I was 125!!!! How much thinner could I get since my frame is not that small!! Oh well but I would like to get to my goal of 135 first and then see if I would like to create a new goal just to see if I could do it. Hey I could look better than when I was 14!!

Its cool to know we are kind of at the same place, and started at the same place as well. As I was working out and losing the weight from the beginning, I never felt I saw results. I saw the lbs drop, but my body got smaller together, so my hips and stomach still pop out. Today, I did a bunch of ab workouts, 45 mins of cardio, and some toning for my thighs. PLUS, I walked for an hour outside.

I was hoping to lose some of my chest. But guess what? Didn't happen at all.I couldn't believe it! I know they are there to stay, since they are not big just because i was fat since they were always big, but I thought I could at least lose some. Maybe when I lose the last few lbs I was notice something if not, oh well, I've been used to them since I was 14!

oh and yeah, I have a small frame so being around 123 is not too skinny, hopefully! if i look unhealthy, I'm gonna just gain some a safe and healthy way, cause I don't wanna look sickly!

We are going to look so hot when we reach out goals, right?

yep, 3 days left so after that, hopefully I will see something nice on the scale. I'm weighing in at 139-140, I know its cause I'm bloated, so i can't wait til this is over so I can see my progress!

My chest has always been big too. I was the first one in 3rd grade to get a bra and since it was catholic school, we had to wear the blouses that were see through so everyone knew. When I tried out for cheerleading for my freshmen year one of the judges put on my score sheet to get a better bra because people wouldn't be watching me cheer they would be watching other things. My cheer coach apolagized for it and talked to me about it. It was her friends mom and she did the same thing to her daughters. Since I've lost weight I know my chest has gotten smaller. I'm going to have to get a new bra soon. I can wear a size large shirt now, which is nice. I'm sure once you loose more weight, they'll shrink too.
