Last time I was on the phen everything was fine, I never felt sick, just had dry mouth which was good because it had me drinking water alot.


This time its bad. the last 3 days I have been feeling like crap. total crpa. My teeth hurt, I feel like i have tunnel vision, i can't concentrate, and it takes forever to get to sleep, and when I do its onyl a few hours.

I realized the teeth hurting is because I'm jittery, because I have had to stop myself form clenching my teeth. I have been feeling very stressed over not having a job, and it could be the reason. Either way, I'm gonna get off the phen, let it wash out, and start again when my mood is elevated and things get better.

I only have 17 to lose, and I will still do my cardio because I'm not totally dependent on the phen.

FYI: I take the Phen at 8am, have breakfast at 9am, snack at 12pm, lunch at 2pm and dinner at 6pm. I drink tons of water, work out from 3-4:30, and don't drink any caffeine because of the phen


So, who knows, it could be the stress, could be the phen. I don't wanna scare anyone off of phen, or discourage newcomers but this way if something is having the same experience they can see that its not just then.

I'll still use the forum and weigh in and as soon as i get everything settled, if i sitll have weight to lose that hasnt come off I am going to try the phen again and see how it goes to see where these symptoms came for. If i get anything, i will post them and throw away my bottle. but with no hard feelings! since it helped me to lose 33 lbs!

You have a really great attitude! I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well.
I went through that same thing...NO JOB thing and became really stressed and even depressed to a point, that is when I ballooned from 160 to 180 in like a month and a half and then it just kept piling on even after I got a job to the point where I reached my 197 mark and this is when my doctor prescribed my phen.
I hope that you start to feel better and that everything works out for you.
Jobs come and go, there is another one out there for you. Stay focused and keep us updated.

I noticed my jaw was hurting more with taking phen. I have tmj and there's some times when I can't open my mouth wide enough to put a sandwhich in my mouth. When I was taking phen I was clenching my jaw even more when I was taking it and I was having more jaw pain. I think with all the mood swing side effects it made things worse.

yeah i never mad tmj, but since im putting pressure when my mouth is closed, my bottom teeth are kinda pushing pressure on the top ones so they hurt soo bad. I hope things get better, I live alone, so unlike friends and family members that are or could be in my situation,i don't have a husband/boyfriend that pays the bills. Its rough, I dont want to see myself run out of cash and then have to ask for money, or worse, have to move back home. yikes.

on a positive note, since i always have a sense a humor, and know that this isn't the end of the world: i have no one helping with bills so i have to buy less junk in order 2 make sure i can pay my bills, so my horrible luck is helping me to not overeat...PERFECT!!
