I'm feeling tons better now and have been on a mission to clean my entire house top to bottom, every nook and cranny by Thanksgiving. I've started back full strength on the exercises and I've cut back on pop again. I've made a deal with myself that the only time I can drink a pop is when we go out to eat...which is supposed to be once a week, but it doesn't really ever work out that way...so for me and the pop drinking that's good!
About a month ago, I went shopping with my sister at Lane Bryant's (I know you all know what that is!) She told me she would buy me something there for Christmas and I told her not to waste her money because I wasn't planning on being able to shop there by Christmas because I was going to loose enough weight. She didn't agree!
OH YEE of LITTLE FAITH! I bought some PJs there a month ago, came home and tried them on, the pants were tight in the butt and the top fit...NOW, they are both loose and almost baggy!! I think I can make my goal of not having to shop there by Christmas! I'm really going to be working hard at it especially with Thanksgiving coming up...TEMPTATION is just around the corner!

Thanksgiving is only a couple of days away...I think I can handle it. My husband made me some chocolate pudding last night and fixed me a bowl of it, He doesn't know this, BUT after two or three bites, I washed it down the sink. It just didn't taste good. I can't believe it! That is in itself a major break through!
I went to the dr. today and he said he's proud of me with my progress and I should be back to normal weight in no time!
I went to see my grandparents last night and my grandmother commented on much weight I have lost! She said she wishes she wouldn't have gotten me such a big size for Christmas! The shirt I had on at the time was XL and she bought me a 1X, I told her it should still fit. My husband thinks by Christmas it won't!
I've slacked off on my regular exercises lately, but I've been getting plenty of exercise cleaning the house! I've got one more project to conquer by Turkey day...the Kitchen! With the kids it's hard to get it done in the few hours it should normally take. Then that leaves one more room for after Thanksgiving...my stepson's room! I'm kind of dreading that one!
WEll, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!! Good luck with the Holiday feasts!

Sounds like you're doing good. That's a great accomplishment that you only took a couple of bites of the pudding and didn't eat the rest. I still get the Lane Bryant emails I should tell them I don't need them anymore. I can wear the regular jean's at Old Navy and not the plus size jeans. I tried on a size 18 tonight and they fit perfectly. Have you thought about going for a walk in your neighborhood or the high school track? If I don't feel like going to the gym I go for a walk for an hour and that does the trick. Sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Good luck to you.

Thanks MayMay!
I don't get out much in the neighborhood. i'm a morning person, so I would rather go in the early morning before the kids are awake, but we don't live in the best neighborhood and my husband doesn't like me going by myself...so, I try to make it up in the mid-morning, I turn on a CD or DVD and dance around the living room with the kids! I thought it was going to kill me the first time I did it after starting Phen, but it's getting easier on me now!
I get a natural high knowing that I don't have to shop there anymore!

Well, it's been a short 2 months since my last post and I've only lost 6 pounds since but I feel that I've done pretty good considering the holidays and all. My doctor was thrilled to see the loss, I guess most of his patients saw a slight gain or a stand still over the holidays.
I have lost the motivation a little to exercise. I had a couple of deaths in the family this past couple of weeks and it's been the last thing on my mind. So, I'm getting rewired and hopefully I can get back in the swing of things and meet my goal weight with in the next 6 or 7 months!
Hope everyone is doing well and had a great holiday season!

Hey!

Losing 6 pounds over the holidays is great! That's definately the hardest time of the year for most people.

Congrats on staying on track!

It's such an inspiration to see your weight loss. I started 2 days ago at 202 and hope to get down to the 130s.

Stick with it and I look forward to getting to know you!
Jill

Well, I haven't been very productive on the exercise issue. But in my defense I have been a little under the weather the past few days. With headaches and nausea...MIGRAINS!!!

Tomorrow is another day...and another chance to exercise!
