I can relate to how you're feeling right now, so all I can really suggest
is one thing:
When you don't feel that great about yourself, it's harder to try to
do something better for yourself like eat the right food instead of
some junk in the fridge.
But, you care about your finals, right? Surely! The fact is that not
only are your finals an important part of life right now that causes
stress, but they also provide a great opportunity.
You'll do better on your finals and feel less stressed if you eat those
foods that are healthy for you. What's worked for me is that if you
can't do it for yourself JUST to do it, you can do it much easier if
it's for a specific event that you have to prepare for.
Example: I'm pretty lacking in the muscle department. I just recently
got into mixed martial arts, and my friend wants to do it too. We're
planning to start training in a class on January 1st. So I've been
working out much more lately and am stronger, faster, and overall
more active. I'm also smarter than I was before, and I'm less stressed,
less sad, and I can think much more clearly with a strong sense of
exactly what I want out of each day and how to achieve it.
So basically, if you can't eat healthily just for the sake of
weight loss
at this point, just try to do it so you have the most potential and
brain power when you take your finals!
