OK!!..here I go!! lulapalooza..as I promised!

I have been taking fertimina (spanish for phentermine) for 3 weeks..I've only lost 5#s..but it's my fault..I haven't been honest w/my diet! I had already lost 20#s on my own..BUT after my surgery I regained 10#s :(

I will try to return to the gym..they have a pretty good daycare there. It's gotten difficult since now that the weather constantly changes..my twins keep getting sick!! :( & too add to that my 3 year old now doesn't like staying!! My husband tries to get home early enough so I can leave him w/the kids BUT lately he has had to stay & work late :(

ENOUGH OF EXCUSES!!! :-({|= I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!!

MY GOAL: 150
CURRENT WEIGHT : 189
TOTAL LOST (SINCE MEDS) : 5#S

I'LL GET THERE!!

How's your food stuff going? What are you eating and how many meals
do you generally eat in a day? The types of foods you eat really affects
weight loss and the effectiveness of your workouts.

If you have time, do yoga at home, preferably right after your workouts.
Contrary to popular belief, the best time to stretch is AFTER you work out,
but it's still important to warm up your muscles with light movements like
jogging etc. first.

With foods... try to consume carbs that are mostly 100% whole grain,
and eat plenty of plant foods and lean meats.

Hi, Ian..

Well, my food intake is not the greatest...I pick @ food a lot...especially since I spend a lot time cooking for my kids & then DINNER for my hubby.

I know I can eat better...it's just comparing what I feed my family to my diet frozen meals...guess who wins!!?? LOL

I try to eat more than once a day..but I don't get hungry..come dinner time..I'M STARVING!!! Lulapalooza told me I should eat about 5 times a day..that is what I'm gonna aim @.

I will try whole grain carbs...since I can't live without them. What about chocolate??? My #1 weakness?? :o :?

And yes...WATER...I'm up to 3 glasses a day!!!! YEAH!! =D> \/ :smt023 I know that is not enough, BUT I'm working on it!! I hate water :blurp: ...I put drops of this & drops of that to make it taste better..& that works for me!! I used to be a water junky..for a while..BUT once I get away from it, it's easy not to come back!!

Thanx 4 the feedback & support..I greatly appreciate it!!! Anything else u can think of...please let me know!!! :-D

Hi Me!

Don't worry Hon. You'll do it! 3 small meals and 2 snacks ok. What I sometimes do when I can't get to the gym because of the kids I start jumping around with my kids to fast music or something. They love it and this tires them out for a nap too. Lifting the kids up and down makes great weights too. Make yourself get out of the house sometimes even just to walk around the block.
Remember no tortillas! no papas! no avocados! evil evil evil! I heard someone that pineapple is really good to eat while dieting. That is has some natural indredient that burns fat. So eat lots of pineapple and grapefruit. To bad you don't live close by... we could do a belly dancing class. We should put our child bearing hips to good use huh... LOL!!!

That sounds like fun!!!! I wish I had someone to do fun stuff with..but sadly I don't know any other stay home moms. :(

I'm staying away from tortillas...& the avocado..well that's easy..I haven't gone to Mexico for them...they taste way better than the ones from here!!!
How about oranges?? Heard anything good about them...I've had several people drop me off 5# bags of oranges!!

Well..we shall see how it goes...

See 'ya!!

Happy losing!!!!
