Hello,
I was researching Duromine, when i stumbled across this very helpful forum and decided to join. I am 20 year old female from australia and i would really like to lose some weight. Probably you all heard the high school stories how ppl tease you blah blah blah. Thats not exactly the case with me. Just most girls my age around me are gorgeously model thin and im nowhere near that. The trendy clothes i cant buy because 1)they usually dont have my size and 2) if they do have my size it loojks horrendouse on me. Thefore i decided to start this diary because i do need motivation help. My friends dont really care about helping me. I guess they not so great friends afterall but hopefully here i can find some one to keep me motivated.

I am currently 80/79kg and 1.68m tall. I would love to be 65-67kg which the doctor said is normal weight for me since i am quite big build.
So here are my answers

• How much weight do you want to lose?
>About 13kg

• How much time do you hope to take to reach your goal?
>I didnt work out the time yet but i think 2-3 moths is reasonable

• What methods will you use to accomplish your goal?
>I already sign up for gym and go there abotu 5 days a week for an hour. With food its hard i would like to stop eating for a bit, or eat less thefore i might be taking Duromine 30mg daily.

• Who or what can motivate you to help you reach your goal?
>Mostly i have to motivate myself which can be very hard. Especially staying off the sweets and carbs part.

• Is your goal realistic?
>I think it is. I know that it wont be easy but i heard that once you get into routine it will get much easier.

• When do you want to start?
>The weightloss i decided to start on the beginign of this month so i didnt eat that much and tried to keep the food balanced but with the exercise part i didnt start untill 3 days ago.
Concerning the Duromine/Phentermine part i already got the perscription but now im worried because of all the side effects that i read. Im quite scared to start.
I think thats about it for now.

13/01/2006 - First day of taking Duromine/Phentermine. I didnt feel any side effects yet. Maybe its not working that great on me..
Today i did 20 min on treadmill, 20 min on bike, and 20 min on that weird space machine and 5 min stairs.
Today i only ate 3 inches of sushi roll and one nectarine. I did drink lots of water.

14/01/2006 - 2nd day of taking Duromine/Phentermine. Still no side effects. Yay i guess.
No gym today because i only do gym Mon-Fri n w/e off. Today i only ate a salad with chicken.
15/01/2006- 3rd day no side effects. Weight myself and i lost 2 kg. I still don't know how is that possible but i did. Today i ate blueberries and a small salad wrap. I felt guilty about the wrap because of the bread of whatever surrounds it.
Oh well..
16/01/2006 - Couldnt go to the gym today because i think i rolled my ankle.:'( I did eat blue berries and strawberries and 1 salada slice. Im trying to eat but sometimes i just cant. I dont want to stuff up my metabolism.

17/01/2006- I had a bowl of cereal with blue berries and normal milk. Didnt finish the milk though. So far so good... in about 2 hours im off to the gym. My foot still hurts but ill be ok.
I did 1 hour in the gym and had a bit of veggies and a extra trimmed pork .

18/01/2006- Bowl of cereal, a bit of bread, extra trimmed pork. 25 min treadmil, 15 min fast aerobic class, 15 min x-trainer.

19/01/2006 - Bowl of cereal with berries, steamed dim sim, blueberries.
Unfortunatelly no exrecise.:(

Hi, Kathy. From you picture you look like you are a small person. How many pounds is 15kg?

I hope you will think about adding more food during the day. You are not eating enough. Starving yourself is not the right way to lose weight.

1Kg is 2.2 Pounds thefore i would like to lose 33 Pounds. For some reason i just cant eat. and if i do have a craving its only for sweets which im not having. Thank you for reply though

20/01/2006 - Cereal, blueberries, rewarded myself with 1 cookie, weight watchers lasagna, 20 min x-trainer, 20 min treadmil. it was way too hot for more exercise.

21/01/2006 - Cereal with skim milk, grapefruit, salad and 3 sausages. Plenty of water.

22/01/2006 - Cereal with skim milk, 5 lil teriyaki chicken wings, tiny bit of rice, a bit of salad and glass of punch, water.

23/01/2006 - Cereal with skim milk, 2 small pieces of grilled extra fat trimmed pork, 1 orange, water. 30 min treadmil, 30 min x-trainer

24/01/2006- Cereal , a boiled egg, nectarine, sausages. 30 min treamil, 30 min x-trainer, 10 min rowing machine.

25/01/2006 - Cereal, hamburger wif small fries( very naughty but it was my first one since 2 n a half weeks n i worked out later in gym a lot), grapes, a pita roll.
New work out program with weights n 20 minute challenge.

Hi Kathy you look great in your picture if you don't mind me asking how much you weigh in lbs not really good with kg. but good job you are losing weight and exercising are you still taking phen pills. they do curd my appetite I am not snacking as much and really dont have an appetite good look
