Hi everyone I'm Tracie from NC. I'm 29 years old and I weigh 182. I'm 5 ft 9 inches and am 38dd. This time, I've been dieting for 2 weeks today and I've lost 10 pounds. About 2 years ago I was able to get down to about 155 and I would love to see that again.

I have an appointment next week to go to a dr to see about getting a diet pill and a friend of mine has told me phentermine worked great for her. I have checked using calculators online and I am overweight, almost 30 pounds. First I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they think I would benefit from it ?

Thanks for any advice anyone can offer and I look forward to meeting you guys.

Well, went to the dr. today. Before today I was taking Propolene which didn't help me at all :--(( I've been following a lot of threads here and have learned a lot. It's so wild that before I went to the dr I knew I wanted Phen but I'm not a dr so I kept those thoughts to myself. Guess what, I got Phen E5000 30MG. I just weighed myself, 182 pounds. My goal is to get back down to 155. I felt so good when I was at 155 and I must work toward that goal and make this a life change, not a diet. I just know Phen will give me more energy to excersise more but I will not rely soley on it.

I have a treadmill and a home gym, anyone reading this I would love to hear any treadmill workout you do or any excersise as I'm open to new things. I also want to either get an elliptical machine and/or and excersise bike. Does anyone have any suggestions on which is better ? Also is a recumbant or upright excersise bike better?

Water........I know I must drink a lot of water which I have been working hard on. Has anyone tried any of the Dasani flavored waters ? They are sweetened with Splenda ? I LOVE these but am really concerned and wondering is this as good as regular water ?

I'd love to hear any comments from anyone. Hope to make some friends here.

Well yesterday turned out to be a good day except for the fact that I know I didn't eat enough. I just wasn't hungry, at all. I know I need to force myself to eat though, even when I'm not hungry. I got on my treadmill but only did about 3/4 of a mile. I don't know why but I just don't like it. Hopefully I can either get an excersise bike or elliptical machine this weekend. I need to find something I enjoy doing. I also have a home gym but I'm not very good at it. I guess practice makes perfect right. Last night I fell asleep pretty easily. Went to bed a little after 10 but I woke up a few times during the night but stayed in bed. Woke up WIDE AWAKE at a few minutes after 5 this morning. Hopefully today will be a good day, back to work. Hopefully folks won't be stressin me.

Hey Tracie!

We started just about the same time it seems (I am now on Day 4). I love the elliptical machine. It really is a great workout. The first few times that I was on it, it felt really weird. One of my friends talked me into staying on for 10 minutes each time I worked out. Eventually I got used to the feel and now I love it! I'll spend up to 90 minutes on it at a time. Like the treadmill there are different workouts to spice things up.

I too got up a little after 5, mine happened yesterday though. I popped up out of bed even though my alarm was set to go off at 7. This morning I was able to sleep in until 6:45 but I still just woke up on my own. I'd much rather deal with getting up earlier than not being able to go to bed at night.

Hi Jill, nice to meet you and hear from someone in the forum. I was beginning to wonder if I was talking to myself, lol. Just kidding, even if I am I think this is helpful for me to write about what I'm doing.

Yep, another really good day. I felt pretty good all day at work today although I do have a slight headache. I forced myself to eat lunch today although all I could eat was 1/2 of a sandwich and some fat free chips. After that for some reason I was just disgusted with it. Anyway I got my excersise at work today. I was on my feet all day running all over the place. And man.... I have had to pee tons !!! I'm kind of OCD about weighing myself. I told myself I would only weigh 1 time a week but I couldn't do it. I weighed today when I got home...179 !!!!!!!! Soooooo happy...I was wanting to get to the 170's...that was my first small goal although my ultimate goal is to get down to about 155. This 3 pounds wasn't lost just from the pills....I dont think so anyway...today is only day 2 on Phen. I've been working out and eating healthy for some time now...maybe my hard work is starting to pay off.

Well time to go make dinner.

Well what can I say, another great day. I slept really good last night. Didn't wake up til about 6am. Good day at work. At lunch I was only able to eat half of a sandwich and some fat free chips. My friends were really irritated with me but I honestly couldn't eat anymore. I'm just not hungry, at all. Been drinking lots of water but I do treat myself to 1 diet soda a day. Soda was always my weakness but I always drank regular soda but now only diet. My doctor recommended 64 ounces of water a day and I've been getting there or very close every day. When I came home today I weighed again...176...I'm so thrilled.

I haven't talked about this here before but my cholesterol is borderline. I'm hoping and praying that losing weight, excersise and eating healthy will lower my cholesterol. Anyone reading this...do you have any idea how long it may take to lower my cholesterol ? I'm just wondering because I would like to wait to test my cholesterol until I will see a improvement.

Thanks for reading and also does anyone here have high cholesterol and on Phen ?

Well I made it through the weekend without crashing. Usually my fiance and I go out to eat on the weekend. We did go out last night but it was just to Subway. Not too much to say. Had to work hard yesterday. Still eating like I should be even though I'm just not hungry. I eat what I can but still a lot of times I feel sick to my stomach. I have 3 weeks and 2 days left on Phen, I'm sure I will not be given a refill. Today I weigh 173....my goal is to get to 160 by the time I'm done with this bottle. Got a lot of hard work to do but I know I can do it.

I just wanted to say you are doing a great job. I started mine about a week ago but I havent weighted but once . Two days after I started and
I lost 2 lbs. Stay Motivated I hope that I can do as good as you.
