I am 38 yrs.old, married 20 yrs. and I have 5 kids...
I started gaining weight while pregnant. It is hard to lose those last 10 pounds which just kept adding on. I would lose and then gain back. My husbands job had him moving so much the past few years it was horrid, like moving across country every few months. The stress of that, with him being gone a lot did not help me to stay real commited to losing.

This year I went and got a check up and decided to take it serious , to lose 60 pounds. I have lost 25 so far, in two months. I do not expect to lose it all fast. I want to keep it off. I want to make a lifestyle change so I "CAN" keep it off.

The phentermine has helped to keep me from feeling hungry, I really does work in that area. I am able to get through the day with out cravings and I am better able to eat in the right way.So thats it ,I am hoping I can continue to lose and end up feeling better in general and have the energy and lifestyle I want

• How much weight do you want to lose?
40 more pounds

• How much time do you hope to take to reach your goal?
No limit, I hope as fast as I can, but as long as it just keeps moving along I will feel good.

• What methods will you use to accomplish your goal?
Eating healthy food. Veggies and fruit...chicken, fish...that sort of thing and exercise more of course.

• Who or what can motivate you to help you reach your goal?
Myself really. My husband is happy enough with me the way I am. But I feel bad about myself. I want to just throw on some jeans and a tee shirt and run out the door feeling good. I just do not feel healthy. I want that feeling.

• Is your goal realistic?
I think it is.

• When do you want to start?
I am 2 months into it so far. Have lost 25 pounds and feel better than I did. I still have a long way to go.

GREAT work so far MissyC! I'm so happy to hear your plans
for those healthy foods, and that you have lost 25 pounds already!

Are you taking Phentermine or just changing diet and exercise habits?

Trust me, this year you ARE going to throw on some jeans, run out
into 65 degree weather and feel great! I'm excited for you because
I know the exact feeling you want to get and I used to long for it.
I know you can do it.

Yes I am taking the phentermine. I do not think I could stick to this in the way I have been with- out it. I mean , I guess it is not a cure all, but I would say if you need a little help and taking a little pill can give you the hold on power to better stick to it..why not

I found this place while researching the pill a bit more to get the details of how it works. I like the fact that so many questions can be answered just be looking around. Plus the weight struggle ..oh yeah I know about it

Yeah I did sort of really start off gung ho I guess. My Dr. had made such a huge deal on how well the Phentermine works that I was just terrified of showing up having not lost. So I really did try to get moving. Being how little I did before...it made a big difference.

Right now I am dealing with the natural slow down that comes from time to time in losing.
I am stuck for the last week and a half having not lost anything even though I am doing the same stuff. I guess I will have to kick start it by being more aggressive with the exercise again. I kinda calmed it down. Somebody kick me real hard :-o

So I have kicked up moving and really watching what I eat so I have lost another 15 pounds since this post for a total of a 40 lb loss so far.
I have gone done a couple of sizes in pants, so now jeans I had that I could not wear before I fit into and they are actually a bit loose. I still have some I can not fit into...but when I do, and I will! I will be so happy.

But really I feel good now just from what I have lost. I feel more healthy, I can "run" to do something and it is ok, I do not feel like I am out of breath so I am in it for the long haul. I can already throw on those jeans and tee shirt and feel good. I even went and got a hair cut, I had hair down my back, they took off 14 inches so it is in a wedged in the back layered BOB that is shorter in back and comes down longer just past my chin. So I feel like I have a style now

I may not be skinny, I have curves for sure and I still need to lose more. But from what I was to what I am now...it is a huge change for me in mind and body !
