I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Monica, Jessielynn, Youngma, Nolez, Germaine, Dreamy and Kimber for the inspiring replies. I love this website because all of your replies motive me to continue this long journey. Some days I feel like giving up but, after reading what you all say, it makes me want to do what it takes to lose weight. Either way, I can let you know if I've lost any more weight or not and not have to worry about what others may think because no one is ever negative. Well, Thursday the day that I weigh myself and today I'm down another 2 lbs for a total of 15 lbs. By the way, the 13 lbs was my weigh-in for 3/9.
Nolez, Billy Blanks does look a little scary and I think his workout is great, but when you're not use to the type of workout it makes you extremely sore (for days). I do walk on a treadmill or around the neighborhood. I also try to move a lot around the house; like cleaning and when I go grocery shopping (twice a week) I always park in the driveway to unload the bags. I usually take 2 bags to the house; I have to walk up the front steps, into the house, to the kitchen, back down the steps outside to get 2 more bags until I'm done. Before, my husband would bring everything in. And let me tell you, it does make you sweat. Its very hard for me to do anything away from home because I'm married, with kids 9, 7, and 4 months old. I don't work, but my husband works nights, I go to school fulltime and when I'm home my husband is sleep leaving me with the baby. I'm not trying to give more and more excuses, I just have to make sure that whatever exercise I do is at home or where I can take my baby.
Kimber :P I am right behind you, don't let me catch-up! You are doing great too and I know I probably won't catch you, but I WILL stay close by.
