I started my weight loss journey on 02/02/06 weighing 250 lbs. :( I would like to lose about 130 lbs by the end of the year. I don't know if this is realistic or not but I'm willing to give it a try. I am currently taking Phentermine which is working great. I also walk 2 miles, 3 days a week. I tried that Boot Camp by Billy Blanks one day for 20 minutes, afterwards I was VERY sore for the next for days. I will start again on Monday, and at least do it 2 times a week. I may have made a mistake by not continueing to do the workout even though I was sore. My weigh in day is on Thursday and this past week I was down to 244, and as of today 243. :grin:

Big congrats to you on your loss so far All I can say is stick to it.. sore or not. I got an elliptical machine this past Saturday and we put it together Saturday night.... did about 25 minutes on it yesterday (even though I have bronchitis right now lol) and will plan on doing 25-30 minutes each day this week... then build up to more time each week. Good luck to you in your journey... you'll like this site alot I bet!

Thank you Kimber. I am determined to keep going with the workout. I do love this site. It is very inspiring. I hope that you are feeling better now. It looks like you are doing very well with your weight-loss, even though you stop taking the pills.

Thanks so much.... I'm feeling alot better already! I'm happy with my 6 pound loss so far.... it just seems like such a tiny drop in a huge bucket since I have so much to lose... but I'll do it.... as will you!

Well, I'm currently down to 237 losing a total of 13 lbs. I've been alittle sick but I'm much better. I did not do much exercising in the last 2 weeks but will be start at full speed on tomorrow.

Ohhh...Billy Blanks. That man just terrifies me! I've heard that his workout are great though! Even if you can only do them twice a week, that's so beneficial! Are you able to add in other cardio? even if it's just dancing around the house?

Congrats on the 13 lbs also! That's truly terrific!
