I'm a little worried, and yes of course tremendously jealous, about your quick weight loss. Kimber is likely right here - you could be losing muscle mass and that will kill your metabolism when you go off Phen. Be careful! We want you to be skinny and healthy! Ellen

Yup you can be. Just make sure you're feeding your body. My trainer (and I'm sorry I keep quoting her on all these threads) says that you should "revive in 45" - meaning eating something nutritious within 45 minutes of finishing your workout. She says your body needs fuel then and it's at the peak of efficiency with it, so if you eat something (fruit, a protein bar, whatever) you'll actually do your body more good than if you skipped eating altogether. I was stunned but honestly, it's helped me. Ellen

You really can lose muscle mass. Since you are still relatively early on in your weight loss, I wouldn't sweat it too much (pun intended) b/c there are lots of other changes going on in your body (water retention, lower salt intake, exercise, lower cal) but if it keeps up then you might want to talk to somebody...maybe a trainer at a gym or something. Something that I want to do and that might be a good idea for you would be to go and have a session with a nutritionist...most will give you one session adn will answer tons of questions.

I think that you are doing great! Please keep in mind (as a recovering bulimic this is important to me) that the overall goal is health, not skinny.

Have you done a lot of upper body exercises? Maybe you should focus up there. I tend to focus on my upper body and core because I use the treadmill or elliptical at such a high intensity that my muscles get a workout as well.
