Sounds like a very full day Ellen. But don't worry, the sleep will come back to you. Like I said it took me like 2-3 days for mine to straighten out, but it will. Some of the "zip" will go to..not all of it but some of it.

Like i have said before in my diary i think, I don't have scales and really nothing to measure with. When you have been big for as long as I have, you are scared to look at the scales, and don't think about measuring anything lol. That said though, I can tell that I am losing...my double chin isn't quite as doubled anymore WOOHOO!!! I can also feel my muscle's getting firmer. Only five days of the pill and eating better and excercising! So you WILL notice things pretty quickly, I'm sure. Even if you don't, it doesn't mean it's not there though. My mommy told me that tonight Hope you slept/sleep better, and have a wonderful tomorrow!!

Hi Monica, thanks for the encouragement! I can't tell you all how much this is really helping me focus. As for the timing, I took it yesterday at 5:45am... today at around 6am. Hopefully it'll level out and I'll just start taking it upon waking up at my normal time - 7am with any luck!

I slept about 6 hours last night before it became a useless endeavor. I stayed in bed for about 45 minutes just resting and relaxing. It was easy to do and probably good for me too. That's the one thing about being a horrible morning person - I definitely don't mind hanging out in bed under the covers and feeling all cozy and warm. Love the down comforter on a cold winter morning.

Today's plan is: Water... of course. And tonight is a kickboxing night. Sometimes I do a second weight training class, but I'll probably skip it tonight - with as zippy as I've been of late, I don't want to wind myself up even more before bed.

OOOH and here's kick! It seems to happen about 45 minutes after I swallow the pill. Interesting. Hadn't noticed that before now. Cool. Learning new things everyday

Ellen

Okay I know it's dumb to post twice in a row, particularly within like a 2 hour span when no one else has had time to respond but OMG I'm so happy. I jumped on the office scale when I got in - I'm down 2 pounds! I know it's not much, could be a natural fluctuation thing, but this is the first time in ages the scale has moved in that direction right before my very eyes. I'm so motivated right now it's unreal! Not changing the ticker until my official weigh-in day: Tuesday. E

Thanks everyone! I'm happy too. And it's very easy to do a happy dance these days - seriously, when do these zippies calm down?

Anyway, I'm not sure I had the greatest day yesterday. I only got in half my water and I didn't get in bed til 11:20. I did work out (HARD) and get this: I burned 616 calories in a 1 hour cardio kickboxing class. I have to say, my heart rate went up and stayed up and that's almost definitely having to do with the Phen. I normally burn about 500 calories in that class. The teacher was in a butt-kicking mode - someone else said the same - but I monitored the heart rate the entire class carefully because of the new drug and I KNOW it was significantly higher than it normally is. But I felt fine so that's okay too. I also ate pretty well yesterday too - oatmeal and a little egg for breakfast, a brown rice tuna roll and a small salad for lunch, and chicken soup and a slice of toast for dinner. I need more veggies clearly, so I may need to add that to my resolve fo week 2.

Today is interesting. I have a candidate coming into the office for a job I'm filling - and it's hugely pressured filled. I can't tell you how much I want this woman to beg for the job, but I have to play it cool or else it'll be a trainwreck. I skipped the decaf this morning with my oatmeal - decided that even the minor amount of caffeine that sneaks in there is too much of a chance. And I WILL get through my water today!

More soon - but likely tomorrow with my schedule. Ellen
