My nephew is a personal trainer, and he said something to me that I would like to pass along because it made so much sense to me, and really put dieting into perspective.
In regards to eating several smaller portions throughout the day...your metabolism is like a campfire...you don't slam all the wood on at once if you want it to burn for a while...you place a stick of wood on at a time and space them out to keep the fire going strong. That is what eating several small things during the day is like for your metabolism.
Just thought I would share that little bit of wisdom because of all the diet tips I have heard, this is the one that makes the most sense to me!
