Summary:
Before having my son in 2001 I was aroud 130-135. While pregnant I gained a lot of weight, the day I had my son I weighed in between 250 - 255. I had a few problems that developed with my sugar when i was pregnant. I has been oh my 4 years now and I am now 195. I have been to numerous exercise programs and have been on numerous diets. I have either just given up on them or just out right failed them. We have had several friends ranges in age from 30 to 37 that have passed away in the last month from hear attacks, cancer ect. and I have decided this is it ! I am going to get myself down to a healthy weight. Where I will be here for my son......

Goal:

I would like to get down to were I was before getting pregnant 130 - 140.

For me it is not about the weight it is about being healthy

I stated taking phentermine on 2-14 after seeing a weight Dr. who put me on a diet basically cutting out alot of the sugar. I get a B-12 shot every 2 weeks that is suppose to help with energy and breaking down the stored fat in your system

So far I have lost 5 pounds but also lost my outlook and goal over the weekend at two birthday parties (I LOVE birthday cake) I am just a sucker for cake :o But I am back on track now and have decided to weigh myself once a week (I was getting a little addicted to the scale the first few days)

Welcome! Well personally I think birthday cake is an important diet slip - and well worth a minor stall in the plan. You have to take time to enjoy and celebrate, right? Otherwise you'd feel deprived and angry and then you might slip even more. So I say, woo-hoo! There was a birthday and you celebrated! And now it's the rest of the week and you're back on track. Congratulations and keep us informed of your plans and progress! Happy to help any way I can. Ellen

Ya Hoo I am down 3 more pounds which makes a total of 8 in just a little over a week....... I think it has to do with the soda that i completly cut out of my diet, I was drinking a 2 liter a day. Now instead I reach for a water. Actually I think I feel better getting rid of the soda....

Good luck to all \/
