I am so excited to start my phentermine tomorrow. I have been putting on the pounds ever since my first pregnancy. Somehow, after that pregnancy I developed PCOS, which basically makes your body act diabetic. Since I didn't realize what was going on I just kept eating carbs all the time. I worked out 5 days a week and counted calories, but it doesn't work if I don't watch my carbs. I have felt like there was no hope for me to lose weight. I am remotivated with the idea of the phentermine helping me. I need to lose about 50 pounds.

Can someone tell me where I can download one of the weight loss tickers?[/url]

Today was my first day on phentermine. I feel a little spacey, but other than that ok. I tried to drink a lot of water, since everyone seems to mention that it is important. I have been going to the bathroom a lot!!!! I went to the gym and felt like I had more energy. So, I guess my first day was a success. Still wondering how to download one of the weight loss tickers. :grin:

Well, I know I am not supposed to weigh everyday, but I went to the bathroom so much yesterday I though I had to have lost something. I lost 1 pound. I am sure it is just water weight, but I'll take it.

Hey Kimberly! Welcome!

To be honest I think that the jury is still out on weighing everyday. There are a group of people that say no b/c it can get discouraging. Then there is the group of people that say yes b/c then you can make daily adjustments to what you are doing.

I personally think that if you can handle it if tomorrow the scale is up .5lb, then there's nothing wrong with weighing in daily. However, if that will upset you, then you really should stick with a weekly or biweekly weigh in.

You could also weigh in daily and then compare the weekly average, that way it'll even out some of the ups and downs. Who knows. do what makes you feel good.

Congrats on the pound! That's great!

Hey Kimberly... welcome to the forum!! Congrats on the good first day... a pound is a pound in my book..... water or not. lol Drink your water and it'll help your weight loss for sure! I take in about 100-120 ounces per day.. once you are used to it it's nothing! Good luck
