I am not sure what happened to my post yesterday, but so far, things are continuing to go well. Other than a few jitters, I am doing great and have more energy!! My question to others yesterday was - what time should I take my phentermine (blue/white capsules)? I have been taking it at 7 am every morning, but around 5:30 in the afternoon, I am famished. This is with eating a light lunch. Should I wait to take it about an hour later? If so, will I be able to sleep? I have always been one that needs to cut off all caffeine by 4 p.m. or I cannot get to sleep. Just wondering if the phentermine acts as caffeine.

Starting weight on 6/11/06 - 269; first goal - 27 lbs
6/13/06 - 268
6/14/06 - 266.50
6/15/06 - 264.50

:-) Hi, Tammy! I don't really understand how phen
works, but after many attempts, I came up with a plan that works for me. I always drink coffee from 6-7 am; just can't seem to do without it. I eat 200 calories of multi-grain cereal with coffee. At 10 I have another snack with protein (each 3 hours, I eat about 200 calories). At 11 I have a 37.5 phen. Eat again at 1, 5 and 8 pm. Which ever meal is 'supper', I eat about 300-400 calories. I go to sleep most nights without trouble by 10 pm.
What is working for you?

Hi Susan,

I have kind of figured out now (after 2 weeks) that I still have to have my coffee too! So, I just have just been continuing to take my phentermine around 7 or a little after, still have my coffee every morning. I usually eat a bowel of Shredded Mini Wheats for breakfast, have a very light lunch of about 300 calories and have been able to make it to dinner and kind of eat whatever I want. I'm sure this won't last forever, but so far that's what I've been doing. I don't overeat at dinnertime, but I don't deprive myself either. Every now and then I need a snack come mid-afternoon, so I just eat some crackers or something light.

Hope this helps! As of Sat. 6/24, I am 11 lbs down!
