Hello all~
I recently joined this forum and have been reading a lot of the post here. I am in need of any advice you can offer me on how to keep dropping weight. I have ordered Phentermine 3 times in the course of years time & my weight loss seems to have stopped. I take 37.5mgs of the white w/blue speckled pills once a day. I drink nearly a gallon of water a day and eat 5 or 6 times a day, mostly due to being hypoglycemic, but I eat very small & health portions. I have been walking for nearly 2 weeks every day now and the scales are not budging! I am taking B12 vitamins too. What am I missing here? Is there somebody like me that knows from experience what I need to do? It is very frusterating! I do have tons of energy and my cravings for sweets are gone. I am hoping that I will get some replies to help push me over the hump I am on right now. Incidently, when I started Phentermine again about a month ago, I was nearly at 150 lbs and I am holding at 138. My goal is to reach 130 but I am beginning to think my body just does not want to weigh less!!! :( PLEASE HELP!!!!

Try changing up the way you workout. Often times a change in workout can jump start the losing back up. Make sure you are getting enough protien as well. And also eating more often helps, which you said you already do, but adding a bit more each time you eat may help. It's funny that you have to eat enough to lose weight, but it's true. Other than that, just keep at it...sometimes our bodies want to be really stubborn, obviously or we wouldn't be here, but it just takes time and added effort. It will happen. Good Luck!

Hi there Deana......is it pronounced just like mine? Actually, yes I have had my thyroid checked but only to find out that I have IBS. My thyroid was fine, but thanks to the blood work I had to do, I was able to get that problem fixed! I think some of the excess weight in my stomach came off from having a GI done and I am now on medication. Thanks for the input & feel free to stay in touch. How much weight have you lost on Phentermine? Your pic looks great!

Thanks Amanda for the input! I was really glad to check my message & see I had a couple of replies back! This forum is awesome! I do try to get protein in my diet, but I am thinking maybe I need a little more now. I have a friend that had a gastric bypass done and even then the doctor told him that it was important to get lots of protein and that it aids in weight loss. I agree with you 100% that I probably should eat more because I really do not eat much when I do eat. What is a typical day of eating like for you? I ask you because I have seen your replies to a lot of people and you seem to offer good advice. Many thanks!

A really simple way to get in a bit of added protein is just to eat a spoonful of peanut butter. That helps quite a bit. Usually, the only type of meat I will eat is fish or chicken. You can get protein though from either of those, or eggs, or nuts. Most of the time I have baked/grilled chicken and steamed veggies. I often do like PB&J sandwiches as well, on whole wheat bread of course Or even chicken salad. I've posted some great recipes on here in the Recipe Book section that might help you along as well. Maybe check it out and get some ideas!
