Hello,

Today is my first day taking phentermine. I am also doing the nutrisystem diet. I currently weigh 246 and would like to get down to 195. I am 6'1 and 25 years old.

I have been using the TrimSpa x32 for the past couple of days. Will it be ok to continue taking the phentermine and x32 at the same time?

The side effects today were very pronounced. I felt very speedy and wierd, but not hungry I am hoping these side effect will go away with time. My doctor has me taking half a 35mg pill a day. What kind of doses do yall take?

hello! welcome, well im kinda new too! i started on phentermine 37.5 once aday on 8/18/06 and im doing good, the dry mouth thing is getting better,but i still have the im so relaxed, peace and love feeling that i got when i first took it. Its great though(for me anyway) I have never taken a diet pill with this much impact.there is no doubt that u will meet your goal in not time. and with this support group there is no way to go wrong, these are the nicest people ever! just wait until you meet susan she is the greatest at giving whatever advice you need! good luck and much success to all!!!

Welcome John! It's quite refreshing to have a man around here w/ us LOL Yes, most of the site is women, but I promise we won't bite or anything...well atleast not that I know of LOL

Your dosage, especially being from your Doc is a good thing to start with. Alot of people are on the 37.5 tab, but when they start it they break it in half anyway. I'm sure your Doc will eventually put you on the whole tablet.

Make sure to keep us posted on how you're doing w/ everything and if you have questions don't hesitate to ask! There are alot of very knowledgable peeps around here!

Hi, John and welcome to PhenForum. We really do have some men here who might be encouraged to speak up if they know another guy is on the forum. We chickies tend to make where ever we are into our home! But it is only because of the lack of testosterone around here. We are VERY GLAD you're here!
We take different strengths of phentermine. I have been on 37.5 since May 22 and it still works. I do not think it a good idea for you to take Trim-Spa, too. You won't need to and it could be a bit dangerous. We used to forward these types letters to our resident pharmacist, Top-Dawg, but he must be on vacation. :(
If you are taking 1/2 of a 37.5 mg tablet, that should be a great way to start. No need to take more than necessary, right? If by any chance you find 1/2 doesn't help you curb your hunger pangs, he will probably have you take the other half mid-morning. Be sure to ask him what is best for you!
