ok, technically day 3 of taking phentermine. but i'm just starting the journal. i'm eating mostly bran cereal, low fat milk, and lots of veggies. my biggest downfall is the exercise.

I started dieting as soon as i came back from vacation 07/31. so i've had very slow progress. i'm just now really getting started with the pills.

my other downfall, is that my husband does not live with me during the week, he works in another city, so i feel like i can "sneak" food all the time. but i know it counts... i dont know..it sounds stupid.

BTW, i accidently started holiday goals thread in the wrong place, but if anyone wants to write go ahead. i dont know how to get rid of it. maybe AmandaDS can help.

i have read so much supportive stuff on this site so far, and i am totally excited to become a "BRAND NEW ME" about 70 pounds lighter!!!!

Hey Beth! I to am new, but chatted with you a little yesterday. I can totally relate with you on the exercise thing. I hate it! But know I need to do it. And after I do I usually feel a whole lot better. Well I'm sure I'll see you around alot more on here. Keep up the good work and I'm sure we will chat again soon.

exercise sucks! but unfortunately u have to do it. personally i cant do workout videos consistanly. because they end up boring me. so i decided to make my bed room my personal gym! i bought a pully system 4 my door(2 for about $12) u can do lots of work on ur arms and legs. I also have and Easy Shaper(best peice of equipment ever $55 at walmart), i already had free weights, one of those big balls, a step thing from back in the day, and a stepper(lateral thigh strider).
I search the web for all type of workout routine and then developed my own routine! I pump my music loud then get to working out i do own a exercise bike(hand me down) but i barely use it(boredom kicks in). so for my cardio i usually go for a run or a brisk walk. try to make it fun!

Beth you can use a calorie counter and nutrition reference at FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal
It's a great tool to control your eating and see what you need to add to your food intake.
I like your creativity about exercise. I have an airwalker, a ball, free weights, and a yoga mat.
I watch TV and exercise.
So I am there with you on doing your own routine.
