Ok, well, this is my first journal entry. I weighed myself this morning already dressed (I forgot to do it before!) and I weigh 174. I know this will probably sound pathetic but I couldn't wait for my phen to come in for 2 reasons. 1. to lose weight (obviously) and 2. My house is a disaster! Being overweight kind of affects everything doesnt it? So, I am trying to whip myself and my house into shape. It kind of hard with a 20 month old but I wouldnt trade him for anything. We had kind of a hard go at it, I got preeclampsia and he was born 2 months early weighing 3.3lbs. ~Sorry, that was kind of random! :0) Well, I guess I"ll close up this post and I keep reminding myself to eat! I've been on phen before and I'd have tons of energy in the morning from the pill and none in the afternoon and for the longest time couldn't figure it out! Duh! I had no energy from FOOD! So, I'll try to do it right this time and eat even if I don't feel like it. Sorry so long and I'm looking forward to talking to anyone!

Welcome Welcom welcome...I know we unofficially met yesterday when you gave me the wonderful link to check on the location of my pills. Thanks so much that was such a BIG help. I so totally understand the house being a mess and chasing after a baby. my daughter is going on 11 months old and our son is 8 years old (great help I should say) and she is such a mommies girl. We did not want them so far apart in age but thats the way God planned it and we actually like it. Hope that you have great sucess with the phen and remember that we are here for you day and night. Just like a 7-11 thats open 24/7 .

Thanks, Thininside! And your welcome for that link. I'm not comfortable unless I know where my pills are every second of the day until they get to me!

Hi, Lovebeingama! I am so glad you started your journal. And you have 2 tickers? Most people have trouble getting one and you have 2! That must be a sign... You will do twice as well as most others in this weight loss journey!

haha! Thanks Susan! I meant to replace the first one and I ended up with 2 on there.lol Well, today is day 3 for me but I didn't take my pill today. I am having a root canal tomorrow and I've checked for drug interactions and there weren't any, but just to be on the safe side I thougt I'd skip today and tomorrow's dose. I know this is supposed to be all about phentermine, but since it isa diary I will confess. I am TERRIFIED about tomorrows root canal. I have had one before (my dentist did it and this time he refferred me to an endodontist since this one is a molar) and I was miserable for at least 4 days afterwards. I know that probably doesn't sound like a long time to some, but I don't handle pain very well at all. I try to get a grip on myself and say "Chill out! You've had a baby for pete's sake!" But it never works. And the thing that makes me the most afraid is that I worry that he will send me home with no pain medication afterwards and I will be miserable from the pain and they won't care. I feel like a petulant child but it feels better to admit that out loud!

Goodmorning, hope that your root canal goes well. I had one a month ago and did okay with it eventhough I had a horrible experience in the past with it. So they drugged me up pretty well and put me on valume the day before just for anxiety. Ihad a shake after it was done and it all came back up within minutes. Gross I know but just warning you. Anyways just wanted to let you know that we are all thinking about you and get some rest and see us when you can to let us know how it goes.

Don't you worry another minute, Honey-Pie! The endodontist would NOT send you home after a root canal without pain medicines. You will probably find, as I did, that the molar root canals will NOT hurt at all by tomorrow morning. Take the pain medicine before it is needed, with a little caffiene, and it will work much better that way.
I am anxious to hear from you tomorrow that all is well again. I think you are a smart little cookie for not taking the phentermine--JUST IN CASE!:p

Thanks gals! Your words were just what I needed this morning as I get ready for my big RC. My dentist gave me 2 valium to take an hour before my appointment so hopefully I won't feel so scared after that. Thininside~I"ll remember that, NO SHAKES immediately after root canals! lol sounds like good advice! And Susan, thank you so much ~ I hope my endodontist is sane and kind and does prescribe something. I'll let you know how it went. Wish me luck!
