today is the first day of my attempt to loose the weight that ive gained back since my last 'sucessfull' diet...

i was doing really good back in august getting ready for vacation. my thinnest was 5'9 152 size 8.


then i found out my mom had a stroke and started gaining weight. i just now realized it when i stepped on the scale today for the first time in two monthes. 172! How did i gain that much weight so quickly? when my mom had the stroke i felt guilty that i couldent be with her ( i live 2 hrs away ) and i started eating all of her favorite foods at night. i was cooking all of the things that she liked and always made when i was a kid. ( mac and cheese, sausage and sour krout, pasta and alfredo, tacos with rice and beans ) i was so shocked that i had gained so much that i examined what i was eating and what do you know, its all moms favorite comfort food. so thats when i decided to start this whole thing. my goal weight is 145 by new years eve. thats my boyfriend and i's two year anniversary and i want to be the same size i was when we started dating. i ordered my phentermine today and know it will help me. last time i used phentermine i was able to really control my cravings. wish me luck!

Good luck to you! Phentermine really helped to control my cravings as well, but after a while, that slacks off...unfortunately...:(
But I think you'll do GREAT! Just hang in there w/ the rest of us!
And make sure & keep us posted on your success!!!

:p Hi, Honey, and welcome to PhenForum! I do the same thing and eat what my mom loves. Something really IS comforting about that. How IS your mom? How has the stroke affected her?
I think you can make it by New Years. The phentermine will help tremendously. What a good time of year to take it, too! Everyone associates holidays with delicious and fattening foods. The more we can stay in line these next 2 months, the better!

so halloween was evil this year, not because of the candy, it was the potluck at work that did me in. we had macaroni, chili, pigs in a blanket, pasta salad, nachos. basically everything thats the worst for your health you could possibly think of. that the bad part. the good part is that ive worked out evey single day this week. its freezing and pouring down rain but ive still made it to the gym. im going to the gym tonight after i wash my workout outfit and going to workout for an hour. ive been doing 10 mins on the treadmill, 20 on the treadclimber, 10 on the treadmill again and then 20 on the epiliptical, and then 10 on the treadmill to cool down. so i have been getting a good workout. the phentermine has really helped me at work ( not counting the potluck ) to stay away from the vending machine and not constantly be wanting to snack on things. ive lost 2 lbs and i am down to 168.00 i wanted to loose 5lbs this week but i just dont think thats happening. all of the comments have been so supportive! that you everyone for making me want to stick to this

Oh, yes, Honey; you can do this!!! If I can, anyone can. I am THE worst at binging every now and again!! All you have to do is get back on the wagon! And you DID! HURRAY!!!
