I tried phentermine for the first time last November on Thanksgiving Day. A friend of mine had talked me into going in and halfing a 3 month supply that we bought online. They were phentermine 37.5mg amide A-159. I was 152lbs when I started taking them and I lost 17 pounds in 45 days. I was never hungry and barely ate, I had tons of energy. I was never irritable and had a sex drive that put a 18 year old boy to shame. When my supply ran out, like many other people I could not find a good online pharmacy anymore. I still hadn't reached my goal weight of 120lbs. I gained back 7lbs while off the phen for 6 months, and decided to go see a local Dr. my sister had seen. My first appointment with him was last Thursday, June 7th. He gave me a 28 day supply of Mutual pharma mp-273 adipexP generic 37.5mg. I have been taking them everyday when I wake up. I have to admit they don't feel the same. I am tired and irritable. Plus I find they wear off around 6 or 7. I have lost my first 2lbs of water weight and am looking forward to reaching my goal weight. I am not starving myself this time and am changing some of my habits. I have started swimming laps every other day for cardio. I have also stopped drinking any soft drinks and replaced it with water ( which I usually never drink). I have always been a coffee drinker in the mornings and as of today I switched to decaf. I have read some posts that say that regular coffee can deminish the affects of phen and maybe that explains the tired feeling and hunger in the evenings. Well sorry this was so long! Wish me luck.

June 7th started phen & Aunt Flo came to visit
SW- 140lbs
GW- 120lbs
June 12th 138lbs

Everyones metabolism is different and with you starting at 140 you are not going to see as quick of a weight loss as some. I started at 226 and in 10 weeks have lost 31lbs. You know, this weight loss denom is worthing fighting. Good luck

Wow, you are doing great!! My sister also started phen a day after me, she is 26 yrs old in the 250's and is 5'3". She has struggled all her life with weight because of medical problems. She has PCOS and Hashimoto's Hypothyroid problems. I am trying to convince her to join this forum. She is dieting and doing water exercises, and swimming laps with me. I pray her results are as good as yours. Is there anyone in this forum that has the same starting weight and some of the same medical issues, so I can convince her to join for support. I am aware that dieting with me can be discouraging for her.

Tracy, you are doing so well to valiantly get right back up on the horse that threw ya. That same dog-gone nag threw each one of us, and has done so, over and over and over with me. Talk about wasting time--I am the prime suspect on that one. I spent cumulatively years losing, then regaining the same weight.

Really realizing I had to make a lifestyle change that required my involvement was a "DUH" moment for me. Slapped myself in the forehead with the flat of my palm. GEES!
I learned that right on this forum. I learned how to fuel my body and eat healthy foods, how to portion them, when to eat, etc. And in 21 days it was habit. LEARNED. Now the practice of it!

Listen, Girl; if you are like me, you'd LOVE to let this be the LAST diet you'd EVER need without having to consume beets and carrots and lettuce for dessert. Look around here as much as you can...read...read..read. THIS TIME YOU CAN DO IT FOR GOOD!!! GO, GIRL! GO!!
