I'm now running everyday. Not nearly as far as Larry(15 miles!! oh my! I couldn't imagine!!) but doing well for me, I think. I'm putting in a mile a day with Wednesday being my long day of 1.5 miles. There's still 16 weeks until my little race but I want to be up to running 5 miles comfortably by then. My goal is to add .25 miles a week, each week until then. Of course taking the week of sailing off from adding and staying where I am. Broken down by 1/4s leaves me with 14 increases and 16 weeks... I think I'll be fine.  I also just bought the Nike + system to help me regulate my outdoor runs. I have this little issue of going faster than I should and then I fizzle out long before I should. This will talk to me through my IPod telling me how fast I'm going, how long I've gone, calories burned, etc. Okay let's face it... it's a gadget and I LOVE gadgets!!

Hi, my name is Sheila and I'm a gadget lover! You will have to let me know how you like the Nike system. I've looked at it before, but I have the Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS thingy. I'd love the tie in with the ipod though. That would really be much cooler then keep checking my wrist.
