I dont know much about cars. My grandfather competes in car shows. He has a 69 shelby Mustang in mint condition. I love that car.

Uh... uh... uh... I'm speechless!

Joy, trust me when I say I love red! Just not on cars... and actually, absolutely dislike it on a Mustang unless it was originally red! It's just that when I first sold my 64 1/2 convert to my dad(after Britt was born), the very first thing he did was paint it red!! So... the first thing I did when I traded my '67 convert to get the '64 back... was paint it back it's original Cascade Green!!

Boy she looks rough there... I couldn't even bare to remove the old top while it was red! Now that she's green again, I can get in the garage and work on her! Yeah, I know... kinda nutty huh? But that's my "anti-red" story and I'm sticking to it!!

All that said... Kelly's FIL's '66 fastback looks sweeeeeeeet in red!!!!

We have some antique cars in the garage too - My DH used to restore them as a hobby, now he is not as much into it, but we still have a 69 Camaro SS and a 56 Ford F150 he restored. Now he builds model airplanes as a hobby - it was like he went from something somewhat masculine to something totally from NERDVILLE I wonder what will be next!

It's all a matter of preference... that's why the auto makers have so many different colors to choose from! Please don't take my dislike for red cars as something personal!
