You ladies are way too funny!!! It's quite humorous to leave you to your own devices for a day and see what you all come up with!!

I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart!! It's so strange how our bodies work in regards to weight. The difference from October to December is monumental! Yet the majority of weight was from July - October. I wrote a blog entry a lonnnnnnnnnng time ago about "fat pockets" and at what point they disappear. You know the ones I'm talking about... inner knee; inner thigh; above your elbow... granted, you don't really get these until you are obese(there's that word again), needless to say, I had them and in some ways still do. I remember starting out on this journey thinking, "if I could just be a size 10!" Well, I'm nearly there but I can assure you it's not enough! If I still have these "fat pockets" at a size 10... just how flippin small do I have to be to rid my body of them?????? I have no idea...

My new doctor asked me this week what my goal was. I responded with 145? Then said, I don't know... a size 8-10? She liked my second answer better and said, "well, let's just keep going and see where your body decides is a good weight". I then realized I may not have a say in that decision!! Also, with me it's going to be hard to determine as I've never had an 'average' weight. Since I was pg with Britt at 17 with a pre-pg weight of 120 and a post pg weight of 165(you could say I gained a few pds with her!!). I was still a kid after having her and the weight just steadily increased for about 20 years... who knows! What I do know is that I'm going to fight the good fight until it's figured out!!

Okay, enough of that... granted I haven't had a philisophical rant in quite sometime so actually it was wayyyyy over due!!

And just for the record... hubby is liking the transformation!

Oh! And how sweet to say I resemble Ally Sheedy!! I always thought she was just the cutest little thing!! In my super obese days... everyone thought I looked like Rosie O'Donnell!! I'd say this is a very large step up!!

Have a great day!!!!

Yes, my dear, you are doing SUPERB! As far as the "fat pockets" go, let me just say, I am no dr, but I would think everybody's bodies are unique in their own way, & there is no telling WHEN you might be rid of them...? Maybe 20 lbs before someone else? Maybe 20 lbs AFTER someone else. I think it just depends on a lot of factors...
Did you by chance ask your dr this question??

I checked out that Waterfall pic, what a smile!

So about those fat pockets--I have noticed already that I acutally look worse naked now than I did 15 lbs ago b/c my fat is "melting" and rather than having large, dense "rolls" I have smaller squishy ones.

Us NC girls should plan to meet up at StangFest and hang out! We can be the bikini girls in high heals..LOL (please tell me they don't really have those!)

By June we all should have made some huge progress!

Many, many months ago I predicted that Miss Martini would end up resembling Catherine Zeta-Jones! Not too far from the truth from where I'm standing!
