3 months of not being hungry?!!! If only I could be so lucky!!

Well anyways....Welcome Ms. Martini. I'm sure you'll do well and meet your goals in no time. The good thing about phen is that it'll really help you start making that scale move which'll be a huge boost in your confidence. It'll get those endorphins going and who knows....you might end up not needing that Welbutrin after all!!

Thanks again ladies! Reading just a little of your journals is inspiration already!

Ohh, here's another side effect... sleep! I couldn't fall asleep last night so I read and read and read and read some more. Not that I mind reading so much as I waited for all 7 of the Harry Potter books to come out before I began that journey(on #4 now). But I'm one that no matter what time I go to sleep... I'm up at 6:30. I stayed up and watched the end of the O's and Red Sox game, then read about 100 pages... I didn't look at the clock when I turned the light off.

So, here I am. And I've folded 2 loads of laundry and put another in the wash. Made coffee(I know, I know...), let the dogs out and swept the kitchen floor. There really isn't much more to do as I completed the rest of the chores yesterday. Guess I'll go clean my desk until the boys get up then I can at least make beds!

Good morning everyone!

I sure hope sleep finds you tonight. If not, try taking a Tylenol PM, or a Benadryl. I guarantee you you won't be up @ 6:30 if you take one of those! LOL!
My house is sparkling clean, & I am in a tizzy cuz there is nothing else to clean! LOL!!!

Surprise! I'm up...

All things considered, I think yesterday was okay. I was up early and had the house pretty much cleaned by the time everyone else decided to stir. Showered, vaccumned out one car, dusted(again), put laundry away and stripped/remade beds. By noon, I was actually hungry. Read some more then watched a movie with hubby. Somewhere along the line I became extremely tired and took a short nap. Figuring it was just catching up with me.

I cooked a healthy meal for dinner(no carbs for mom) but then hubby wanted to go see a movie. Not that there was anything playing... we just haven't been in a while. There was so little playing I had no problem convincing him to go see Hairspray. Oh my... this movie was absolutely hilarious! Granted, there were 8 people in the theater and hubby was the only guy!

What I ate yesterday:

A Kashi almond bar
A salad with baby spinach, cucumbers, olives, southwestern grilled chicken with a feta vinegarette dressing.
A handful of pistaccios(sp)
Baked parmesean chicken
Garlic broccoli/water chestnut stirfry
(here's the bad part)
1/2 of a small buttered popcorn
A Bryer's all fruit bar(lemon)

I caved on the popcorn. Had to... It smelled SOOOOOO good there was no way I could sit through the movie and actually pay attention to the movie if I didn't! I compromised with making hubby get a small(instead of our normal large which we do take some home our son). I ate it... I did... all in moderation though, huh? (oh yeah, just the beginning of justification...)

Sleep came fairly easy even though I did get a headache at about 10:00. Of course it's still here this morning. I saw where someone told me to take Tylenol PM to sleep if I needed to. My doctor advised on taking no over the counter meds except for what she knows about. Surely a couple of Motrin wouldn't hurt, would it? Or... she put me on an asrpin regimen, those are only 81mg... could I take like 6 of them?

I wasn't completely hunger free yesterday(like the day before) and I'm hoping it was just because TOM was due(actually more than a week overdue) and arrived this morning. I start a full dose of phen tomorrow so we'll see if there is a difference.

Just a little funny to go along with the sleep thing... I woke dreaming about Cheese Its this morning. I swear I could taste them!! The funny was, I always have Cheese Its in the house as I include them in our son's afternoon snack(after school straight to golf... here's some carrots, ranch and Cheese its... eat fast... hurry up, almost there, no, not teaching him bad habits!). But I never eat them! Just thought it was kind of ironic...

YUMMO! The popcorn wasn't bad at all. It's the movie theatre popcorn served in gallon buckets that will pull me....um...er...I MEAN US down!

Oh! Again, I find myself saying "Thanks Ladies!" The inspiration here is priceless and having new(er, um, new to me) folks stop by to wish me well is an amazing feeling!!

I must admit that other sections of this board are kind of scary. I can see myself staying right here. I'll stop by all of your threads and jump in where I feel comfortable. I see in the other sections where people are looking for an "easy fix". There aren't any! We've all tried them and they simply don't work. I want this to last and phen is still just a tool to me...

The weekend was nothing out of the ordinary. My eating was pretty good(if you don't look too hard at that slice of pizza I had for dinner last night). That's okay... I know pizza is going to happen, just like popcorn and the like. I can't diet forever but I can make room in my daily diet for these sorts of things.

Today's workout is past me(70 mins/3 miles/320 cal). Yeah, a little slow but I spent the first 25 minutes reading while walking.

I saw in someone's signature a monthly challenge of sorts(was that you Kimber?). Like miles, etc. Is there somewhere on here for monthly challenges?

Thanks!
MM~
