Yeah Jazzy, I can see staying away from some. I think I've rooted around and found the areas to stay away from(as well as the places to go). I just don't like reading posts about... how much weight can I lose if I don't eat while taking this medicine... can I lose 48 pounds in 30 days? It's unrealistic... not to mention it doesn't add anything to the conversations.
Sure, everyone needs to be educated... but these aren't the ones 'wanting' to be educated. They're just looking for the quick fix.

Now about that BBQ sauce... wonder how that would taste on my nightly salad... hmmm...

Grrr... I had this really nice post all typed up and then had to restart my computer... let's see if I can recreate it...

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I did get on the treadmill for 70 minutes... 3 miles... 320 calories. Now if I can just persuade myself into doing it again today(sigh).

What I ate:
Kashi O's cereal with 1% milk
Granny Smith apple
A big salad with mixed greens, grilled chicken, cucumbers, olives, a dusting of shredded cheese, bacon bits and yes... I couldn't resist... peppercorn ranch dressing.
A lemon Bryer's All Fruit Bar

Doesn't seem like much after typing it out. I haven't put it into my log yet to check the calories but I have a feeling I need to be eating more. Obviously, more often!

Oh and I'm addicted to my scale. We're becoming extremely close even though I don't like him much. It has to be a male... as it's just evil! I don't see much happening so far and I know deep down it's WAYYYYY early... We're moving into a high travel time of year so I really need to see something happen to keep my motivation level up while on the road this fall. Knowing that Mr. Scale is evil in his own right, I took all my measurements yesterday(need that starting point) hoping that if he doesn't cooperate like he should in a month maybe just maybe the tape will!

Girl! I've come to the conclusion you're all about the food! I love it!!!

No, they aren't rewards. They were planned beforehand. The rafting is an annual trip with some of hubby's friends. Oh how I hate stuffing my fat a** in a wetsuit every year... I feel like a beached whale wearing that thing! Jamaica... well that's our reward for putting up with each other for 20 years. We're celebrating about a month and a half early but it's really hard to get away right after Thanksgiving.

I should come up with rewards though, that may be fun!
