OK.....I'm exausted from all the reading I've had to do to catch up! I have to check in Daily I guess.....these journals are addictive!
Anyway, I think the less pills you take the better, some of the pills will automatically become unnecessary once you've lost the weight, you should go by inches lost instead of lbs., taking the month of Dec. off is going to suck, letting you continue getting prescription re-fills until you're close to your goal weight is fantastic (did you get her on tape?),the length of your period is unbelieveable and GO SOX!
TGIF is right!
Have a good weekend!

Hey Anissa,
My turn to catch up
My take on all of this is that, sometimes, like seeing that program on BDD and Rachel, life gives you a little wake up call if you know what I mean Now you know what you need to do and most of those irritating 'issues' will subside once you get the weight off! And it is going!!! That is brilliant!
The best part about that weight loss is that even if you do eat a bit this weekend and you may gain a little, you KNOW you are on the cusp of losing it now, so it will be gone again by the middle of next week... like your holiday weight??
So this is all great news to me and the biggest challenge is the mental journey and YOU are the queen of positive thinkers!!!
Sounds like it is all fairly straightforward from here, just keep doing what you're doing and watch that weight literally 'melt off the motivated Miss Martini'!!!

Howdy everyone!

Ms. Joy, no... I really don't expect it to go back up to 208. That was me just being a pessimist, like maybe the scale malfunctioned or something!

Susan, thank you!!

Ms. Olive, you're right... I think I'll take a little recorder in to my next appt.! Oh I hope... hope... hope she follows through!

JESSIE!! There you are girl!!!!! Of course I miss you... but I'm so happy to see you're still around and reading even if you can't post. Get that computer well soon woman!!

Ms. Gillian, I'm staying away from the scale until Tuesday!

Update:
I think I ate pretty well for the weekend. Friday night we had a pumpkin carving get together and dinner. We had spaghetti, nice multigrain bread and I set up a little salad bar. I'm sure I went over my alotted calories but not by much. Saturday, I had a half of a banana and yogurt for b-fast. Deb and I had a bunch of shopping and errands to run and just swung into Tropical Smoothie for a liquid lunch. I got the Splend(a)id choc/banana and only drank about a quarter of it as it just wasn't what I wanted. Around 4:00 I made another salad. I figured prior to the party, I had consumed about 600 calories. Then throughout the evening, I snacked on carrots, a few meatballs and probably a bit too much spinach/artichoke dip. I think the worse thing I did was staying with margaritas throughout the night. I don't know the nutritional value of them... but I'm sure it wasn't good! Today so far I've had more spinach dip, a couple of meatballs, 3 pieces of bacon and I've been grazing on cantaloupe... dinner will be roasted chicken and cabbage.

Yes, I'm sure my weight is up a pound or two... but it's not permanent. I'm changing my weigh ins to Tuesdays as I have a challenge team weigh in that day as well.

Anyhow, it was a fun time. Handsome hubby and I slept in a little bit, then after his bacon and pancakes... we cleaned the house! All the indoor decorations are down and the floors have been scrubbed. He was a BIG help to me today!!

You're knocking on the door of Onederland Anissa! I'm doing a happy dance for you too. (BTW your food this weekend sounded yummy and made me hungry - think I'll go make dinner. LOL) Ellen

I've said it before and I'll say it again - "You don't give yourself enough credit!" You've lost another 2 lbs., while working with a P.T., kickboxing and doing time on the treadmill (not to mention how much TOM can add)! Talk about building some muscle! I think that losing another 2 lbs is frickin' awesome! I so wish that I had your motivation!

I don't see how you can keep up with all of those meds! My Dr is trying alternating doses every other day to control my thyroid issues and I can barely keep up with that (plus my bcp). I guess we do what we have to, not what we want to.

I hope that you have a great week and TOM leaves (he has definately over stayed his welcome!). You inspire so many of us and I don't even think that you know it!

Good evening Montez!! So good to see you!!

Aww, you are too kind girl! This place is so great because I think we all inspire one another and keep each other going! Sometimes we just need to write it all out... step back... reread and take in suggestions. I love it here and am thankful that we have each other to vent to, celebrate with and bounce ideas off of each other!

I think TOM is on his way out... The magic number for me as of late seems to be 15. This was also my daughter's jersey number for every sport she has ever played, so maybe it's some sort of sign!

Oh... the (bleeping!) meds! I can't take credit for the memory there! I have 2 of those daily thingys that I set up every Sunday. One for morning... one for night! I also put my vitamins and supplements in there as well. My memory is the pits!! How in the world do you keep up with the different dosages every other day? I'd have to have a written schedule right next to the dispenser! I feel for you girl, I hope your doctor gets the dosage where it needs to be... I know how frustrating that can be!

Hi Ellen!!

Oh if I could just get to onderland!! What a happy girl I'd be!! I'm almost there though... and what a celebration that is going to be!! I haven't seen that number since I became pregnant with Tyler(190)... almost 16 years ago!!
