HOWDY HOWDY!!!

WOW!! You ladies are just wonderful!! Even though you made me cry...

I MISSED YOU GUYS!!!!!!

The trip was nice even if a bit cold! I don't know how all of you that live up north do it!! We had a great time with my cousins! Spent a night(was suppose to be just an evening...) in Atlantic City. Let's just say that Mr. Trump is down a bit for a change!!!

Oh but the food... I think I did okay... yes, I indulged a time or two. But for the most part, I stayed on track. My breakfast was the same everyday... oatmeal, yogurt and a half banana. Lunches were fine. Dinner included a nice size salad each night plus extremely small portions of whatever we prepared. I did have one night that I was 'snack-y'. That night I probably ate more than I should, but the foods were not 'bad'. Fruit, soy nuts, kashi crackers and the like.

I went to PT Weds before we left, walked and work with weights on Thurs, Friday was a day off, Sat was another walk and work with weights and then today was travel... back to PT first thing in the morning. I'm thinking I'll probably add a kickboxing class tomorrow night as well...

All of that said, I'm scared to death to get on the scale tomorrow!! I considered waiting until Tuesday but think I feel knowing how bad the number is will help me to remove it and get back on track.

So... enough about me! I'm out of here to see what you all have been up to!!!!!

Thank you ladies for the wondeful welcome back!!

As much as I knew it was a bad idea and I kept telling myself NOT to do it... I jumped on the scale last night. I expected to gain... but I just simply was NOT prepared for what I saw... 209!! So I fell into a pretty deep self pity party. This morning the evil box read 207, a little bit better...

It literally took all I had to MAKE myself go to PT this morning... UGH! I knew it was going to be bad... and let me tell you it was!! I swear I felt like I was going to fall over and just die a few times.

All of that said, I think I did pretty well today. I ran... not jogged but actually ran a half mile at 5.5 mph. Now, I was sucking air and thinking I was going to die the entire way... but I did it!!! I also did 3 sets of 12 on the hanging reverse crunch thingy. I have no idea what it's official name is but it's a #*@*%!!!!! So yes, today was extremely difficult but I did burn 851 calories in 75 minutes so it SHOULD have been hard!!

Lesson learned... 5 days off of tough cardio, weights and interval training is a BAD thing!! And something we will NOT be doing again in the near future. It'll get easier by the end of the week but for now, I'm off to take a nap!!

OH! I forgot to add...

After this morning's workout and eating lunch, the evil box is registering at 205... so 2 more pounds. I'm hoping this gain was due to my sodium intake while away and I should be back to normal in a few days. Cross your fingers...
